Works as stated I had to put localhost in the IP box, both bots on same machine, as when i left it blank it came up with
"[RINGO BOTS] System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed."
and froze the bot. Just to let anyone else know.

Be in a party and accept same quests etc. Nice work so far man.

 

I'll look into that in a couple of hours.

Also I have spoken to CodenameG and he's said no problems if I compile the server and stick it up, I will leave the un-compiled version available so you can compile it yourself if you want. That means I will post the SVN link when I've made the updates to get the blank for localhost working.

Apparently the attitude you received is indeed not considered acceptable as Apoc has taken the offending post down. Although we do not know what other actions are being taken, if any, this alone demonstrates you are not alone in your thinking, nor are you expected to accept abuse on these forums.

I hope Apoc's actions can persuade you to return to our community.

yeah dont worry, CodeNameG is just threatened. and is hated by every one including me, his done nothing but be a newsence over nothing, personally, i think he needs to put a screwdriver in a powerpoint. really carnt blame you to be honest. he has the most fucked up additude and all he really has is a power rush. makes him hard or something? in the end he needs to lose his powers then he can be brought back down to where he belongs, no where, and hated

Have to agree with this fully. I have never had a problem with him directly but upon reading many of his responses and posts he does seem to come off with a very bad attitude. As stated previously it is his job to keep the peace but how is it that someone who causes more controversy then they solve can benefit a community. I feel that when we payed for this service [Honorbuddy] that we deserved to be allowed to ask questions, gain knowledge, and expand into the community as we need. It is not fitting of a moderator to put down people on a forum and make them feel unwelcome. This is a site dedicated to the bot honorbuddy and anything not directly controversial of this should be allowed. I believe that unless someone is directly effecting another user then they should be allowed to post whatever questions they may have and/or post up any work they have done as long as it is not a risk to the community. I believe I have said my peace and I hope that this post is reviewed by the staff and taken into consideration for the future.
