It's just part of the game, just gotta roll with the punches. People who post like this rarely keep it up for more than a few days, so it's not that big of a deal. Just vendor some herbs and things will be back to normal soon enough.

I love it when i see ppl using the AH like that. Now all you have to do is wait for someone to notice the same thing you did and they WILL report him. Then you have your market back for a while cause now this person will have to lvl a new toon from scratch and you can start selling again.

But if enough people report the unusual ammount of items posted on the AH by a certain person the GMs might look into it and manual investigation is much worse then autoinvestigation/serverside limit/bans.
Everyone has this problem at one point or another. I run into it quite often. All you can do is either undercut them, or wait until their shit sells out. I was banking off fishing until new the new mrfishit was uploaded to the public, now fish prices are 10x lower than what they were. Ive been working on mining, and had been making some decent money until this one person stacked the AH with about 10-20 stacks of the top bars/ores. Im sure itll be gone in a day or so then I can put mine up.
hehe i used to be the big monopoly in my server til i got fucked over by a stupid mistake in using that ONE guy as a mule for my 5 botters * 1 dude survived the chain ban XD * supplied everyones herbs and ore but now i'm a newbie again : (
10-20 stacks? >_> I've been suffering from a couple of farmers on 2 of the realms i farm on who post over a 100 stack of lichbloom. The lichbloom's price actually went down to 9g per stack...so yea >_> Your best bet would be "figure out" when they login to post/repost, and post after them. Or just change what you farm.

I didn;t read anything past the first page, but, I Own AH on my server on ores/bars I even undercut myself, because it will go faster. 7 Pages, yes that is a lot, I maybe have 1 page, that's it. Still not nice to report other botters, no matter what. What comes around, goes around.
Please dont talk BS, thats not true. If ur posting something like 7 pages of herbs at once it is classed as "Exploiting the auctionhouse" and i have seen SO MANY people been banned from it...
Have had this happen a few times on my server. It's obviously bots, but the thing is - it's not the botters account, but a hacked account. Everytime someone has gone on a posting spree for 3-7 days, they've been offline for about 4 days, then back - but no longer posting mats at the same insane rate. Could be wrong, but i figured it was just people getting hacked and having their account abused.
I remeber talking to several Gm's asking if I could control the market and own the auction house, which all replied as: Yes if you think you can control the market go ahead and try, but it will be a rough battle with others. Then I asked if I could be banned for this they replied: No, we allow players to make gold as a part of the game, and if they do that by the auctionhouse then they won't be banned for doing so. weird that still people get banned, must say with this that I control my realms economy on my AH with several accounts. and none is banned so far. few tricks etc come into play but still.
Once again i stand firm in the statement that blizzard does not care how many auctions you put up or how much they are for. I have seen numerous Blue Posts and GM conversations backing up this. I have never seen a ban email posted anywhere that states "Eploiting the Auctionhouse". It says Exploiting the Economy, which is a totally different thing entirely.
True, this. exploiting the economy is different thing + if they would ban people for doing this this won't you think that all those How to Pown the auction house guides etc for money would be called scams and would never see a penny anymore? try to pew pew and you will learn fast enough, as we speak I came back from vacation and voila 1 mil gold! thanks AH skills, and bit of GB.
