      nothing you can do to survive if you can't move out of the beam...until there's a plugin that will do that for you, you are going to die to desecrate and beams every time

      I highly recommend you swap out Magic Weapon for Explosive Blast - Chain Reaction. It does quite a bit of damage, has no casting animation, and is another thing that can proc crits. I have it set up as Frost Nova goes off when HP is below 99, Chain Reaction goes off at 97 and DS at 95. Just wish I could get HP potions to work at all. Tried that plugin but it doesn't work.

      Yeah explosive blast works pretty good, I experimented with that as well.

      I would recommend swapping out *Frost Nova* for *Wave of Force - Force Affinity Rune*.
      Diamond Skin on cooldown.
      Wave of force at 99%.
      As soon as diamond skin wears off, you wave of force them away, by the time they are back on you, you are diamond skinned again, constantly.

      I was dying quite often, with extremely good gear. Wave of force seems to have fixed that problem.

      +1 for the crit proc build.

      +1 for the potion plugin fix.

      For those of you using explosive blast, set it to go off with X monsters around you, and just set it to 1. That way it will spam it whenever possible and useful.

      Frost Nova with explosive blast is better than wave of force which doesnt work together with explosive blast.
      The real problem with the wizard tank build is that wizards dont tank. They cast from range, so while the userpower from barbs will automatically move your barb to the enemy, for wizards you would have to move explicitly to the target to make frost nova/explosive blast work well. I wonder if this could be done in belphegor, might give it a try.

      Any ideas how using this build, or anothers builds for wizard to own mobs on a2,a3. its rly hard but mobs-dragonflies in a2 rly pwn me.

      I've never tried a2 but I have an idea how to handle the dragonflies. If the bot encounters a fly it could teleport there + frostnova + twister. With 40% crit chance and crit mass the teleport cooldown might even be reset fast enough for the next fly.
      But if the hp of the flies are too low (or your dps is too high) to trigger crit mass it might be better to use another skill only to kill the flies, like chain lightning.

      What kind of gear should I be looking at? A wand? Does it have to have Arcane power on Crit, LoH, Crit damage and Int? Or can I get APoC with other items?

      It's kind hard to figure out what gear to get to get enough all res, crit chance, hp, etc, when starting from scratch :p

      This build NEEDS explosive blast (chain reaction). Period. Will cut your kill times down drastically.

      you NEED 15+ APoC..we get 10 from helm,and since a shield increases our survival..a source is out of the question.
      a wand with LOH or even life steal is a good start.if it has crit..even better.int isnt that high a priority on a wapon to start off with.

      Alright, thanks. I got plenty of gold, so APoC + LoH + crit should be doable :) Then a helm with APoC and I'll work from there...

      Would be nice to see what gear someone has who is running this though...

      Got it running. Can't figure out how to get it to spam Diamond Skin though? And I'm lacking DPS... I can kill them, but it takes to long... I think with enough dps though, this is preferable over a barb, because a barb kinda needs wotb and eq, and those have huge cd's...

      I use the Generic combat routine and put Diamond Skin on low health 99% and frost nova on Low Health 95%.
      Seem to spam them more consistently than 'on cooldown'

      After choosing Generic, let the bot load up and then stop it. Then the settings button (not settings tab) will allow you to configure the timing/event for each skill.

      HB6705F02 have you tried to farm in act 3 at all, is it even feasible with a wizard?

      Is anyone able to use a HP? I have Health Potion v0.4 enable, and it isn't working at all.
