I believe this is a CC issue and not HB, but feel free to tell me otherwise. When the bot pulls he briefly drops the target and reacquires it as soon as the target hits him in melee. It pulls perfectly using the abilitie(s) defined in the CC settings, however without fail he'll drop the target for a split second and then pick it back up a couple seconds after the pull. This is mainly only an issue when it occurs vs casters because the caster completes their entire spell before he reacquires the target - For the most part it's a minor issue, but can look bottish and causes unnecessary delays or damage taken (because the bot won't interrupt a spell cast without having the target appropriate target).
I've been noticing this as well, though I think it is an HB bug and it seems to happen when the bot's target switches from the bot to something else, ie. pet/blood worms gets aggro or mob is healing itself.
yep, its part of my target check scheme. HB is slow to return weather the target is actually attacking, so it clears to target for saftey reasons.
Great profile, I just miss the ability to deal effective with adds, especially in low level dungeons. Death and Decoy or Pestilence would be really cool to use by this CC in case one is attacked by more than 1 mob....would also be very benefcial when in use with instancebuddy and give a good increase to damage output, since the tank always pulls several mobs at once
Is it HB or this CC fault that my character just run through a bunch of enemy players, or is it something that I gotta change?
I only seem to attack if I am directly being attacked. For instance, I'm killing mob #1 and bloodworms pop. I get an add of mob#2 which aggros the bloodworms. I will kill mob#1 that is hitting me, then stand there and watch mob #2 until the bloodworms fade away. When mob #2 starts attacking me directly, I start fighting back. It works and isn't stopping me from questing or grinding but it does look a bit bottish to be sitting there doing nothing with a mob right next to me.
had same issue with dk permapet and the normal one, also happens when im in group and my group member is beeing attacked, just ignores his mob.
Same issue as previous posters. Death knight stands there and watches if his bloodworms or ghoul takes aggro. Death knight only attacks targets that attacks him.
The same happens with me, but I dont think this problem is specific to this CC. I get the same thing using the default mage class. If something aggros my perma water elemental, it will just stand there. This leads me to believe its a HB issue, not CC.
Same issues....at this time DK are unusable with HB like mages and a lot of classes. Is this a rant ? Yes i think :| sorry for this Surely a HB issue,like always sadly
Any way to make it go frost presence if it has more than 2 attackers and go back to blood when out of combat again?
Was wondering if there is some kind of check for tapped mobs/players? Cause in a BG I usually just ignore any players already engaged with someone. Looks kind of weird when he just rides past a huge battle. Or could that be the same issue as him not attacking something that is beating on my pet/bloodworms.. hm
The potential of this CC is really limited by the fact that it can't utilize ghoul or bloodworms. If you use them, your death knight won't attack the mob.
