I have one, and that I got when i stoped HB to run the bot manually for a minute (Was in a tight spot and ressing was a pain!) Asked a friend of mine thats pretty pro on webservers etc, and he told me that if I get a blank page that should mean that the webserver is starting but somewhere along the coding something is linked wrong. But since the same files are working for others I doubt that would be the problem eighter! :S
Rangbang: don't know either. You can try using something like Sami HTTP server and disable CowStats HTTP server.
Back to my original question, have set everything up, but once I access the auth page I enter the correct details (I think) and then it loads up the webpage, but doesnt show screenshots or any info about gold/kills at all. thoughts?
For some reason I just cannot get this pluggin to work for me. Unable to connect on both pages http://localhost:8080/auth.htm & http://localhost:8080/index.htm. CowStats]: LootTracker - Found 32 different items Casting Frost Nova [CowStats<WWW>]: Could not send file...System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'E:\Stuff\Applications\Bots\HB 1.9.4.5\Profiles\Plugins\CowStats_http\www\index.htm'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode) at CowStats.Server.ListenerCallback(IAsyncResult ar) in e:\Stuff\Applications\Bots\HB 1.9.4.5\Plugins\CowStats_http\Server.cs:line 103 Could not find a part of the path 'E:\Stuff\Applications\Bots\HB 1.9.4.5\Profiles\Plugins\CowStats_http\www\index.htm'. mscorlib at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode) at CowStats.Server.ListenerCallback(IAsyncResult ar) in e:\Stuff\Applications\Bots\HB 1.9.4.5\Plugins\CowStats_http\Server.cs:line 103 [CowStats<WWW>]: Connection closed.
Already asked. Already written clearly in the install guide. Easy to understand. "Could not send file...System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'E:\Stuff\Applications\Bots\HB 1.9.4.5\Profiles\Plugins\CowStats_http\www\index.htm'"
Well, got it to work, is going great! one quick question though, when you finish updating the light version, can we send whispers etc from our phone too?
This helped, thanks Only works from my own computer though, had a friend log on to the page and he got only ?????'s, but after reading the first post I guess thats a known bug about to be fixed?
Got mine working great with Sami Http server --- Setup port triggering on the router. Sami to some strange unused port. And TADA -- it lives!!
Yes, this is intended. Light version only means lower refresh rate, and a simplified interface, which will be a lot faster to load and less memory consumming. It means that it cannot connect to the specified server. "127.0.0.1" stands for "localhost", which stands for "your own computer on your own home network". Therefore you need to tell your friend what's your IP address. "127.0.0.1" will work on your computer, but it won't on your friend's one. Easy way to find your IP address (open the link on the same computer that runs HB, ofc): http://www.whatismyip.com/ By the way, don't give the login and password to everyone, as anyone knowing these informations will be able to use the remote control feature (=> execute LUA or send chat messages).
WTB Jabber support instead of HTTP I'll pay, seriously =) EDIT: There seems to be a bug with the display after a while. Can't figure out when exactly does it start, but here's what it looks after a while: Also, I can confirm it working perfectly with the "Client" running under Apache on a remote server.
Ah crap... I totally forgot to escape loooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnng strings. Jabber? Be more specific when you say "you'll pay". The best solution would be to use libpurple (pidgin/gaim's lib) which supports many, many IM protocols. But as far as I know, we still cant use external dll's with HB.
Uh, regarding those... uhm, long strings... I'm reading the chat log from cowstats, and I'm looking at the chats in-game... and I can't match anything in there o.o Some names are totally mixed up. Chat lines from /guild are mixed with lines from /2, can't understand anything Here's a sample: The original message was: http://xmpp.org/software/libraries.shtml <--- there, libraries for C#. You don't really need to run it from inside HB as this is pretty much client-side related, you could make it an external program, so instead of the small "web application" that reads messages, you would have the jabber thingie My $50 offer from the monitoring thingie still stands :> I know it's not much... but...
Well, been setting up servers for all kinds of stuff for the past like 5-6 years, so the IP part I know, oufcorse he cant reach it when the IP is set to localhost, but I gave him my real IP! If I would have given him localhost he wouldnt have seen anything at all, but he saw the complete page but with ??s instead of the text (Like exp/h etc).
"complete page" = resource sent by the http server data that replaces the "??" = resources sent by cowstats' tcp server, which is not related to the html page. 1. Check that your cowstats port is open (use "nmap -PN yourIP" on unix) and you can connect to it ("telnet yourIP yourPort" -> type "ping" + backspace) 2. Check that you gave him the correct login and password.
Its working now, the Rtard friend of mine actually used localhostIP on the Auth, but telling me it was my IP. And since it was over msn I believed him ^^ Thanks
I have to say this is an amazing plugin and I use it on all 5 of my guys now. The only thing I noticed was that the pictures stopped updating after a few mins but that could just be something on my end. Love the plugin.
Which browser are you using, and which version? (ex. Internet explorer 7 / Firefox 3 / ...) I have no problem using chrome (windows and linux) or firefox (latest release, both OS)
