Do you use 32bit or 64bit?

I bot with 32bit of course but when I play casually I always run on 64bit. I am running 32gb of RAM and it utilizes it much better.

I Believe a 64Bit Version of HB should be made! With the increase in processor demands 2GB of RAM with addons running in a 25man Raid just isn't enough to run wow at its full potential. I love all the work these guys do here and i'm extremely appreciative and if i have to use the 32bit wow i will.

I wasn't actually going to comment on this forum until an earlier poster said that if 80% of wow users run the 64Bit version then all us botters have to be in that other 20%, which is a real worry when it comes to warden detection or if your account is ever looked into! Please consider making a 64Bit HB Version, even if we have to repurchase the 64Bit version I'm sure 99% of users would be more than happy to!!

I'm currently using a Tyan 8225 with 2 FX8150's and 16gb (8*2gb). I'd prefer an Intel based system but cant afford it. The system was built for playing chess, not Warcraft. Sadly I'm getting hammered by the big quad socket Xeon server systems. They're brutal, something like 8 times the crunching power I have.

I'm hoping at this point that the developers can see my point about switching HB to a 64 bit format. My simplest motivation being safety.

I'd love to hear from some of the Devs with their thoughts, especially given the overwhelming number of 64 bit users.

some people still use 32bit windows, there are people still botting on windows xp. the 32 bit version of honorbuddy works for EVERYONE even if your running a 64 bit os.

we're NOT going to release a 64 bit version till they remove support for the 32bit version of wow. the reason is that we would have to keep 2 diffrent builds of the bot up to date, one for 64bit and one for 32 bit. so right now that we don't have any working builds for the new version, you would be waiting twice if not 4 times as long for us to update 2 different versions of honorbuddy. you guys already complain about it being down for more then an hour, i hate to see it down for a week or more, for something you guys asked for.

 

According to the last update, it said 12 hours for a build and that was around 8am UTC and current time is around 5am UTC so 3 hours to go lol

 

that's why we try not to put ETA's on our posts. please in 3 hours if there's not a post, don't post asking where it is, they are working on it.

 

It doesn't bother me to wait for a new build. Impatience is a sign of being immature. However with that being said why not just keep the offsets up to date on the beta build for the retards that can't wait to use. If they get banned they get banned. It's a beta build so it's on them. Hell they can even be the test dummies. Win win for us all including devs.
