The problem of telling u bot even to your friends is that if someday anything not good happen between u and them they can rly annoy u or even blackmail u
I am an Oficer in my guild and provide mats and everything else needed for a hardcore raiding guild. All the Officers know, including GL, I sell to 2 of the Officers, and 3 of the Core raid members. all are adults except 1 and he's cool. But Mu guild is very close and tight knit, so we all take care of each other. and there are probably other members who suspect... /shrug :-/
Nope, they have no idea. They actually think I play 2 accounts at the same time and.that's the reason I don't always respond
My excuse for not responding has always been "I had my UI off so I could farm in peace. I get tired of the constant whispers all day..." This is actually true when I legit farm. I help run a large raid guild on my server, and many players know my toons by now, and I just want some peace..
i dont know if some know, couldnt care either... but if i see someone in stv all day... or 3 days in a row in uldum... standing in sw all day and joining every bg... im pretty damn sure i aint the only one.
Helped my friend out with some gold now and then... think i gave him around 85 k in total in like half a year... not to shut him up... just to help him... cause he doesnt care either. if he decides to rat on me... large amounts of gold where transfered by mail... you see what i did there?
My GM asked me about my actions. I filled 3 tabs with cata herbs and single handedly got the 10k fishing achivement. he said "Hey why didnt you reply i whispred you several times" and I said i turned off chat in my custom UI(all lies) but he bought it. I wont tell anyone even if i know they will be cool with it. We made enough food and flasks for 4 months. Take it from Benjamin Franklin::: "The best way to keep a secret between 3 people, is if you kill the other 2"
Lol that's funny. I've never heard that before. I would never admit I bot to anyone. Only one person knows and he's my relative. I tend to try and get all of my botting done before I join a serious guild (on my main). Too much risk imo.
I've only had it work much better, as it's just so much more obvious if you're non-guilded i dont rly run bots without a IRC or a notify plugin, so i'm set
I have about 30 toobs in 3 different guilds, all made by me, and all bots (10 accounts) Telling people that you bot is just stupid, even if you have played with them for a long period of time.
I usually looking for HUGE guild like 500+members for my bot toon, such guilds recruit every 80+ char with no questions. Fill up info tab with my name, spec and newbie ilvl with comment like "lvling atm". There are few whisps during night like "summon pls" or "need help on TH arena" but i just ignore it and no problem at all.
I have my main raiding guild (7/7HM pre-nerf - got 7/7 night before nerf!!) and my personal friend/longtime wow friend guild. Second guild knows I bot, as we all do, half use Hb the other half uses Pirox (shutter to think, and loled at their AB bans) Main guild, has no idea I bot. But I hand play all my toons on main raids, but bot on Alt raids. (we run 1 main raid and 2 25M 6/7 alt raids, then like 10 7/7HM alt raids as well)
was the first botter in my guild - and now 80% the people there are botting. sometimes we end up together in a random bg and when it's a arathi it's like 12 out 15 people are bots ^^
