its talk like that which stops me from donating mate i dont like throwing my money at nothing ya know ...
You misunderstand the purpose of this poll, it is not a request FOR donations, its a request to see who would be WILLING to donate once this is released.
fpsware this is amazing man, goodjob overall in creating this and bringing bot farming back to honorbuddy. I would donate for sure on this project but i cant just yet cause im waiting for a replacement credit card... When i get one i will be sure to donate. Awesome man, simply awesome!
All we know is, is that the product has been around for months for closed BETA testers and does work for the most part (as stated by FPSWare many posts back) but he keeps getting banned which delays development. FPSWare is also working on a lot of other projects. My guess is he wants to release a product so perfect, that it never actually gets released
It is not closed beta. He has an svn for it. But you have to figure out how to setup the file structure on your own.
Gotcha. Well fpsware makes great stuff and I would donate at most $25 for it. He could maybe do a license system that only allows each key so many sessions so if someone like me who only has 1 farming account at a time won't have to pay as much as a person who runs dozens of bots.
he already stated several times it will be free. Why do you guys still advise paid versions? I don't get it. /
I'd very much like to be a beta tester for this if possible! really awesome botbase! I'd definitely donate to help make this botbase the best it can be.
Yes your right he did say it would be free. But after testing this and seeing how well it performs and how good it is just in the testing phase and not completed, I said he should make a paid version because this is far far better than anything out there at the moment and for the foreseeable future. Yes we all like free stuff but imho this is too good to be a freebie. People charge for stuff which is no where near on par with this and what it can do. I voted maybe in the poll, tested it and donated as I felt it was more than worthy of the donation, If he was to release a paid version I would buy it. But as I said this is just my honest opinion.
What "frustrates" me (well, I don't loose any sleep over it ) is that I see a number of testers saying for weeks or even months now that it's working VERY well, although not fully finished... SO WHY IS IT NOT RELEASED YET?! /normal mode: I've donated about 2 months ago because I do not mind to pay (donate) for CR's or profiles that suite me very well; if it would be a paid product I'd probably buy it.
The reason it has not been released is because although us testers think it is good enough for release Fps himself does not and that couple with the fact he has been banned over and over the last few months means the project is in a state of go slow until such time as he is able to go back to full steam ahead.
That's what I said a few posts above; I think it's no easy as a developer to release a product to the public. That's when the critique comes... And a (compulsive) programmer is NEVER satisfied with his / her work
getting critiscism was never a problem of fps he could handle it all the time, cause he did good work all in all his problem is his perfectionism, and if fps is not satisfied with what he did, how can he await that someone else is it? such programs/apps/codes are our lil babys, and if we (as developer) aren't happy with it, we don't publish it (except we never plan to finish the work on it) But FPS is somewhat of a lil perfectionist and never happy/satisfied^^ that's right
Yes, thank you for the response and good luck and hopefully blizzard realizes soon, that this game sucks without botting for people with lives outside the game.
I do think Blizzard realizes that a lot of subscribers are botters. And many botters have more than 1 account too; sometimes even 100(!). If they really manage to keep all botters out, they will lose (guesstimate) 500.000 up to 1 million subscribers. And maybe that's a safe number... I can imagine that Blizzard sees this as a huge issue. They do not endorse botting, but they do know that a large sum of their income is from botting.
I would donate for something like this. I have donated to a couple dev's in the past and was not really happy with the results. If this does what you say it does, and if it were to stay updated for the next expac, i'd absolutely thrown some money your way. How DOES one go about getting a beta invite for this?
