Been using fpsware's routines since he started making his warlock one way back in the day and haven't been let down by anything he's made. Would gladly donate.
Not only would I donate, I would pay for a private/paid-only version. I've got more money than time and botting is an IT hobby of mine to assist my main characters and people in guild. I've already paid/donated to several Combat Routines and Private Profiles and/or bots, and I would have no problem doing it for this.
First world problems right here. I'd donate once I got to test it a bit. Now that I've tried your other bot bases and they are pretty darn flawless I am much more inclined to donate.
FPS gets a ton of donations I am sure. I however have donated a case of beer to this project just because GB2 needs a replacement and I believe FPS is the guy to do it. I got off topic. Sorry. FPS speaking through me: Thanks pheel for the donation, appreciated.
I'm sorry your donation was overlooked, or that of anyone else who donated and had not received a reply from me. I make a point of replying to each and every single donator personally regardless of how big or small. If you've donated and not received a reply from me I'm sincerely sorry for not acknowledging gracious gesture.
If you are making a "donation" expecting a thanks, then you are missing the point of donating in this case. Your "thanks" comes in the form of work (both previous and future) on said projects. While I agree it's nice to receive a thank you in person or in writing, it isn't the thanks that gets my continued support of future donations. It's the fact that I continue to use the [BotBase, Plugin, etc.] provided (free of charge!) by the developer. You are free to not donate again. That is your right and your choice. But think about why you donated in the first place. Was it only to get a "Thank you" in return?
Thank you for your input El Fuego. My reasons for donating are my own, however for clarity I'll Share. I have never used any FPSware labled software, that I know of. Not because I don't want to, but because I don't use HB to make money, only to help me play the game. (See my post in success stories) My reason for donating was to keep him and developers like him in the game. When you lose all your accounts the way he did, I assume there was a moment of "Do I walk away?". His work seems very much appreciated, so I donated in hopes that it keeps him in the game. I would also do the same for many of the other developers, whom I have already donated. My comment came from the fact that when contributing to other developers on this site for CR's and/or just for their handy work, I have always received a gracious thank you or at the minimum an acknowledgment. Manners go a long way with me, thank you and please go even further. My kids are a great example of that. As you say it is my choice, which is why when I posted my comment, it was clear that I would not donate again. Thanks for re-iterating it for me. Cheers and Happy New Year!
Again, that is your right and your choice. But I just have to say, it seems redundant, and kinda silly to me. You are essentially saying "Thank You" with your donation. "His work seems very much appreciated, so I donated in hopes that it keeps him in the game" I read that to say, thanks for your hard work, I hope you continue to develop stuff for the HB community. If that logic holds true... you want a "Thank You" for your "Thank You". When your kids say "Thank You" to you for something (as you have taught them to do), do you say "Thank you for saying Thank You" right after they utter the phrase? If they were 3 years old, and just learning that it is polite to say "Thank You", then I could understand. However; As an adult, do you go around saying "Thank You for saying Thank You to me" to every other Adult that ever says "Thank You" to you? I doubt it.
Any beta invites for your Program "Farmer Joe" Left? Would love to help the community, been lurking for a few days trying to give botting a stab on wow not done it since the glider days & was a big Runescape botter.
No, and there never will be. FPSWare has always been very clear about this. There are no "paid versions" of his work. He creates it free of charge for everyone to use. If you like his work, consider donating.
