Hey all, I have been doing this all night long yesterday, went from 45 to 69 in just 7 hours with my warrior tank. With an avarage of 1700 mobs per hour. However, when my warrior wants repair his almost broken gear, he 'walks' all the way to 'Ymirheim' to repair at a clockwork robot. I am using the profile that has been linked in this thread, not the mammoth mount one, I do not have it haha. My heartstone is set to Dalaran but he does not use that, just walking to that robot for 10 minutes. I have no idea how to make profiles or whatever so I was hoping any of you guys could make one that flies to that robot or uses his heartstone to dalaran and fly back to the Cathedral of Darkness. I am sure this profile will be helpful to others that do not own the expensive mammoth so it will be much appreciated! Furthermore, the leveling method works fine, it takes one day to get from level 1 to 70. Did not try to 80 yet because I do not own Lichking expansion, just the trial. First of all, Thanks especially for the updated QO profile, really does help out. I was running this originally with a BoE equipped(ilvl320) Blood DK with Death Strike CC. Now that toon isn't available to me I'm running it with an ilvl 388 PvP geared paladin. But she dies every so often (DK never died once in 48 hours on the last set). I've tried a few CC's, Handnavis Tankadin seems to be the best one for me so far, and she is prot specced. What setup are you guys running on your pallies? P.S. I jam my lowbies into the spot in the doorway, on top of the teeth things. They fit, they don't get spotted often, and they get XP from the whole room.
Upload a log with your pally dying moods1973 there are Ret spec pally running this without dying so a Prot spec should never die to the mobs there. I'll test with my pally later and post my results it has a lower ilvl of 366 but I can't see it dying to the mobs in there.
I created a fresh folder, and cleared my mesh folder out. 2900 kill's now (936 k/h) 0 deaths. Must have been something funky in my install. Haven't done fresh Hb folders since before the Christmas updates. Toons are level 69.5 with 1d 21h /played on them. The Pallys deaths and some other funky shit slowed them a bit, but this is still amazing seeing as how long levelling bots used to take. For some reason, my 85 randomly targets Thrym (Thrym Thrym - NPC - World of Warcraft), and chases him off having the rare npc plug-in off and all. Besides that, working like a charm! Thanks again. EDIT: I have no idea how can i target it from Icecrown -_-
There's a few bugs & problems that I'm trying to work through, but overall this is a great profile & a very nice find. Thank you to the OP and everyone else who has been laying out helpful advice. With that being said, has anyone had a problem where your main 85 who is doing the killing just decides to run out of the cathedral & jump on his ground mount and start moving toward Icecrown Citadel? Then he gets to the wall (underneath and inside the citadel) & stops....it is the strangest thing. Also, one time I walked away for awhile and found my main in Wintergrasp...haha. I have no idea why he does this stuff, but the issue seems to get resolved once I did a system restart.
Random stuff I've had it try flying off to various places before but then again quite a few times it has happily ran all night without issue.
Not this, but a few times I've come back to find it has been grinding the mobs in the conflaguration, or one of the death gates for hours. I assume it's tried to use the ground mount to run to Argent place for repairs.
I leveled a Priest and Warrior to 80 with this, then granted a Pally to 80! Works great! BoAs and Guild XP only speed it up more. I would suggest a Blood DK or Prot Warrior or Prot Pally...decent gear helps too...because Blizz made it so on one side of the room it pulls ALL of them, so make sure your toon has at least some survivability.
Anyone figure out how to fix the problem where sometimes when the bot doing the killing decides to go to vendor he tries to walk or use ground mount? That's the only major issue that remains for me. Sometimes he'll fly & it works perfect. Other times he runs or uses a mount. When he does that, he can get glitched too.
Reason it ends up walking is because it tries to kill mobs enroute which happens sometimes when it gets stuck into this loop of "oh i just killed this mob and oh look another is just there nearby i'll finish him off before mounting up, oh woops there is another mob close too" ad infinitum.
Code: <CustomBehavior File="UserSettings" PullDistance="1" /> should fix that right? as long as PullDistance="25" is set in the if durability > 40% statement?
