I hear ya, but when things go apeshit on the back-end, what you see on-screen and what BW sees in memory can be two entirely different things.... Anyhow I hope your issue has been corrected with that update. Joe
Just wondering - if the character was level 9 or less w/no spec - latest update I did may have corrected this - IF - you saw an error regarding a Dictionary entry when you tried to log in/load the CC. Another update I did for Hybrid specs screwed things up for lowbies - just corrected that. Joe
I noticed that if you make any changes to the MercHelpers.cs file (like to add a mount) then the file becomes unreadable, and BuddyWing will not read it all, Is mounting just not something that BuddyWing can handle?
What are you using to edit the file? If it's coming up unreadable in the subsequent run of BW - something's up with the editing. C# Express is free-for-download BTW. There are also other editors out there such as TextPad I believe - main thing is BE SURE TO SAVE THE FILE IN UNICODE, and text, FORMAT. Mounting - 8 (?) or so months back, SWTOR changed the internals on mounts. If I understand it right, mounts can no longer be used just like spells or abilities - and BW (Walter or Aevitas can correct me on this if need be) hasn't been updated to reflect that (yet). Pain in the ass, I know. The 'tweak' I did for it - similar to something Walter had (or has? - not sure if he pulled it back out) - just sends a keystroke to the SWTOR app. It's a work-around. Joe
I understand.. I wish we could get a actual Dev to work on the bot for just a month. The constant crashes and lockups are getting old. I bought 4 licenses, only to find out that running 2 of these with ISBoxer brings my I7 2600k with 32gigs memory and a 7950 to a complete crawl.. I cannot even scroll through web pages without massive lag while they are running. Meh, gonna request a refund on 3 of the keys. As soon as i fire up more than one BW they just take turns locking each other up.. Oh, and Joe. I'm not seen the blacklisting problem any longer.
I dont know if its already mentioned but iam having alot of out of range issues with bh mercenary cannot use combined with kicks questing profile
View attachment 2013-11-23 05.23.txt sometimes the bot just stands there ( grinding, Belsavis 41-44 profile) he can be standing 20 ft away from enemy. but if i click on the enemy he'll run over and kill. here's one from today View attachment 2013-11-23 17.28.txt
Interesting line there: [17:29:07.877 V] [Poi.Clear] Reason: I'm in combat, but POI isn't. Clearing POI and picking up a new target. Will run through testing on it. Joe
joe, i switched over to walts and it ran smooth all night long until this morning. which i assume the nav server went down. and still is.
Not a noob question - it wasn't in there (I had it coded to wait-on-death when in-group for instances etc, but that was it - so it was a good question). Just added in the flag to the top of MercHelpers.cs - DisableAutoRez. Set it to true to have the bot sit-and-wait on death. Joe
How can i disable the OOC attack? I keep passing near mobs and I dismount and attack (movement is disabled, not running any grind/lvl CC)
Having a problem recently. When I start the bot, it doesn't do anything, just stands there. I wasn't having this problem until lately. Not sure if it is an issue with the routine or the profile, but posting here just in case. "[HLL] Dictionary contains 4611686348396869576 key already. Value: ." Hi Joe, I'm having some problems with mounting. could you please give some tips? So I set the command to 'X' per your default and I see the command run in buddywing logs "[JoesCombat] TRYING TO MOUNT USING THE [X] KEY. but it never mounts. I can manually press x and it will mount up. thank you
Be sure you've restarted BOTH SWTOR, and the bot, as in exiting and rerunning the application, once the new area is loaded (and you're doing either questing/grinding profiles or running with DoRandomGrind). Joe
