FlagReturn - Return TP and WSG Flags

This feature has been added into the bot by default. No need for the plugin anymore.

Return works amazingly well. Never seen it successfully pickup a dropped flag.

I've never really tried capturing a flag, or returning it, on any toon I have. I just run around killing the opposite faction. I'm curious, since I'm really getting in PvP with a sub rogue and swiny's pvprogue CC, as to whether or not a rogue can cap/return a flag. Or, will said rogue get dominated every time? I'm using the AJ defensive version of a sub rogue, and while I only have one single piece of PvP gear I must say that I live a rather decent amount of time, and I do kill quite frequently. I'm slowly gearing my rogue via BGBuddy, but since I'm alliance we tend to lost most of our BGs. I'm just looking to score as much honor as I can by doing practically everything I can with BGBuddy.

 

They both show up as "FlagReturner" on plugin list.

 

Will there be a feature to pick up flags dropped by your own team?? or only support dropped flags by the enemy.

 

Yes i used lazyraider picking up dropped flags by the enemy is perfect, but is it supposed to pick up flags dropped by your side?

Or will this feature be added at all?

Really ? I don't see the bot returning flags at all without this plugin. I am doing randoms so I will watch closely if it will start returning them now, but otherwise every time the bot was near a dropped flag it did not make even an effort to return it.

 

Um, I've run BGBuddy for quite a long while, and it's never, ever made an attempt to pick up a flag of any sort, be it dropped or spawned. I couldn't even get the plug-in to work. I've tried with 5800, 5842, 5845, and 5855. So, I don't know where it's enabled on this bot. And, as mastahg said, his plugin really only works for lazyraider, which I don't use in BGs very often, so I really can't say if it works or not.

 

I tried his Beta version with the English client, and I can confirm it did not make any effort to return any flags at all with BGBuddy. Someone dropped a flag near me and the bot didn't take a detour to return the flag.

 

All this plugin does is watches chat for a message about a dropped flag and then IF IN RANGE, it will click it. Only your faction flag. It will not move you, it will not fight for you, it will not heal you. If you want it to return a flag, you need to be near the flag when it drops.

Just curious if this was working anymore? I need to get some serious rep with the Warsong Outriders, only way to do it is with flags.
