Ok so when I dismount to mine or herb something my hunter does not attack he just stands there and my pet engages. If the pet dies then he just stands there and dies. Maybe it's not working for me.
Read the installation instructions on the first page. Hint, you have the CC in the wrong folder. You have it saved to Fpsware Hunter, but its looking for the config file in Default Hunter. Its an understandable mistake as all my other CCs go into Fpsware [CC Name here]. This CC was going to be the default hunter CC, so the installation folders needs to be called Default Hunter. I'll be readdressing this in future builds.
A good profile, using it on my hunter. However, I'm aware that Marksman Hunters should use Steady Shot instead of Cobra for stacking up the Instant Aimed shot buff. Other than that, seems to work nice.
It is supposed to recognise you have Improved Steady Shot and use that instead of Cobra Shot. I'll have a look into whats going on. Anyone else with Improved Steady Shot see it using Cobra Shot?
First off, I'd like to express my gratitude to fpsware for this amazing CC. I am also having this problem of the CC using cobra shot instead of steady shot.
Should add this also for Master Marksman, once it reaches 5 stacks you can shoot a instant Aimed Shot. Another Issue I seem to have at times, my hunter seems to Refresh Hunter's Mark when targets are applied by Marked for Death buff. I guess it's nothing major, but sacrifices little DPS I believe. I'm not 100% sure of the Mark & Marked for Death, but I will verify it during the next few hours of farming certainly.
Loving this class. My only issue with it is that after death it tries to revive pet, but the pet isn't dead so really it needs to call pet. Anyone else noticing this issue?
I can confirm that it is casting cobra shot in lieu of steady shot on my MM hunter with 3/3 in Improved Steady Shot (also 3/3 Master Marksman)
I have this prob as an SV hunter, while its good to fire Cobra shot, even though I have the option selected to use serpent sting always it never fires it so half of my cobra shot is wasted because the target isnt poisoned
Wow Great CC FPS ... love the customization and ease of use of this CC. Use this with lazy raider all the time! ... I had a request ... something you could consider adding if its easy for you to do. I was running dungeons last night and noticed my hunter picking up the next target in combat after killing one. This was ok since the tank aggrod it - but later on my pet aggrod an add and my hunter kept targeting and attacking it no matter how hard i tried to deselect the target ... suffice to say I aggrod ( i didnt have any threat mechanics on for my pet since i didnt wanna pull off the tank) I died ... healer tried to save me ... didnt work ... aggrod the mob and we whiped :'( sad tale! Hurt even more when the tank left after he was rezzed ... waited for almost 30 mins for that que ... damn! So my suggestion is could you add a customization to disable all targeting as well? including targeting your pets enemies? It was late last night and I wont be home tonight so I guess sometime in the weekend I'll go through your code ans see if I can // the targeting out ... but in case anyone else wanted this I thought id put it out there
With this CC the Lazy Raider option does not effect targeting. But given you issue (as isolated as it may be) I can see why the [new] option would be welcome. Basically, if your pet has a target and your character does not it will select the pet's target and kill it. So unselecting the target will not work as long as your pet is in combat. Which in 99% of cases this is the best thing to do. I could add an option to remove ALL targeting in the CC, but.... HB itself targets mobs so this might not work as well as you would hope. What caused your pet to aggro a mob?
I noticed it on occasion also, but the logic is sound and it should be working. I'll have a look into this when I can.
I'll have a look into this when I can. During tests it worked properly, IE casting Improved Steady Shot instead of Cobra Shot. Emm...... I've not seem this behaviour in a long time. I'll try and get my pet killed a few dozen times in order to test this. I simply forgot to account for "Marked for Death", I'll add support for this in the next build.
FPS, as aways top notch CC work. The new version is working very well in all 3 specs. the only thing I have seen is it is not using kill shot. If ya need a log ill post one for ya . Thanks .
Yeah i know what you mean ...I thought this too, but it does use killshot ... only I dont think it uses it on cooldown as a priority over everything else when target's below 20% health. If SS is off it'll apply that and use arcane ...etc. but I have seen it use killshot when nothing else is available...
