Blizzard is just funny when it comes to bots, I know someone who was literally botting the day of the ban wave and he didnt get banned.

If you read the OP, I lost my first batch, shown in the screenshot, which I said were linked. Now they are tagging any other ones I start, on diff bnet. Using diff names creds etc.

It's not unusual for a temp ban to turn into a perma ban after the temp ban, it's also not unusual for people to be banned right after they buy gametime.

That part I get, however I bought the new accounts right from best buy. Used the code that comes with the game. Not using my CC or anything like that.

Well, this information pretty much ends the ongoing argument about creating a new battlenet or creating a new account within the old battlenet, after a ban.

It seems that thinking they didn't use this info to locate bots was wrong from the very start. It was common sense though.

It could be this would have happened anyway to your main account (they could have linked you by ip as apparently you never changed it), but having your new bots in the same bnet was a dead giveaway.

I lost 3 accounts in the ban wave, never did a fresh install of wow, never changed ip address as a matter of fact i have not changed anything, I have been botting on new accounts since it came back up, go ahead trolls say what you want i could care less, just throwing it out there that perhaps it is not the IP or the payment method (of witch i am using same credit card) not sure what they are detecting. Do i expect to be caught again? Yes but that is part of the game we play by using this

Mine shows banned on the account I used the bot, I talked to CS and they confirm it is a 6month and not perma, the email says suspended, not perma. The other 2 accounts are still good.

I created 5 more bnet accounts, they are still good, the difference is I have not used any bot to level. Roughly 6 days to level the last batch of toons to 100.

Lotta re re botting. Makes me sad. Should make it a bit harder/require a bit more knowledge to use. Since that will never happen ala the same principle as blizzard dumbing down wow for profit.. I'll move on.

Albeit easily a troll post as it can be legit... For all the "sky is falling" ppl, this proves exactly jack and shit.

I'm sure it's already slipped your mind but dozens of PPl have gotten a 72hr after getting a 6 month on the same bnet post wave.

The only thing you can be certain of is that detection is in place and if it wasn't already easy enough on blizzard due to greedy devs refusing to go x64, now half the botting (x86 population) has quit and moved on which has made it that much easier.

All I can say is I will be saying I told you so when it happens :p and it will happen.

Yea, you are botting casually, only leveling toons, using CRs etc. on 4 accounts! No gold selling, no gold farming, nothing fancy!

Hm ... where my tinfoil hat was?

What he (the op) means is that the actions are technically supposed to be directed towards individual licenses, however I don't know why you'd be looking to start a fire for no reason by adding so many botting liceneses to the same bnet, it's just asking for trouble.

The only case in which I'd say it was worth the hassle is if you'd be willing to sue because of them treating all the accounts as a whole and not individually, but if you're not prepared to do that I don't know why you'd be trying to mess with blizzard, it won't ever get you anywhere, and this whole thread is just pointless if you ask me, this is about the dumbest thing you can do botting wise, not to mention that it is completely unnecessary, battle net accounts are free to make and it takes 2 minutes.

However I'm willing to extend a reluctant thank you for confirming what most of us already suspected that it is dumb to add more licenses to a botting battle net account. Sucks, but to be honest if you did this and a red light didn't come on for you then I am friendly going to tell you that in my opinion you're in the wrong sphere of activity, no offense intended.

I'm quite shocked that an inactive (6 months) suspended account gets perma.

It is obvious, we are not told the whole story, including the actual ban mail, which I strongly believe - is not related to botting at all, but instead is Abuse of Economy.

a 6 month ban, shows "suspension" in the battle.net forums.

a perm ban would say, the account is closed.

You know perfectly that "Abuse of the economy" bans do not necessarily imply anything at all. They are using this reason as a "template" ban reason without further explanation.

But I can't follow your logic here. OP created 4 additional accounts inside the same battlenet of his main account , that had a 6 month ban.

What would he be using the 4 accounts if he is not using them for gold farming? i mean, you could choose to only use CR's as if it made you less of an offender to blizz, or only to level because "omg so boring", but 1 account would be more than enough for that...

What can anyone be using 4 accounts for, if not for gold farming?

Also, you made it sound as if it was not "botting".....so, trying to make gold with the bot is no botting anymore? How should we bot sir?

I've never seen anyone get hit so brutally with the banhammer ouch.. My condolences to you bro. But hey buying another bunch of accounts on the same I.P. just so you can start botting again is like saying "Fuck you" to Blizz. I would never have done that. I would have backed the f up and taken a break.
