This is just a reaction to the "big" news, there are still many people who does not understand that 50% drop rate increase meant going from 5 to 7,5% e.g: Palyer XXX now thinks lotus have a 50% drop chance.

Give it some time and casual gamers who does not farm will see that theres not a huge difference in the market. I am saving my lotus to starve the market a bit, I'm not the biggest seller nor the smallest.

people just need to see the common sense of this, more FL drops, but less gold per is still the same as getting less and getting more gold.

Also explorer on your realm if flasks will give you that small increase in getting gold;)

How do you figure? This attitude is what is dropping the prices. People aren't smart enough to realize a 50% increase on 5% doesn't total 55%. Since they believe there was a flat 50% increase on the drop rate, they aren't inclined at all to spend anywhere near the amount they were previously and people have dropped their prices in order to get sales.

A 50% Frost Lotus drop increase from 5% is only 7.5%.

It's not like we're seeing double the amount of Frost Lotus. We're seeing a measly 1.5% drop increase with a 50% price decrease.

I hate to be the "econ guy" but it is true what Tag is saying and my masters degree in Economics would have to agree...... The increase by 2.5% means nothing. For example you are only getting 107.5 frost lotus when you used to get 100. The reason the priced dropped is because of farmers who saw the price drop very slightly and then panicked, causing decrease after decrease. On my server price never went under 60g before patch. In 3 days after the price was less than 30 but it is now recovering thanks to botters and other farms relaxing and realizing the truth while I (the guy that did not sell at the low price) is making more gold because the supply is now lower after most farmers unloaded their stock when prices started to drop.

Don't be silly and sell at low prices, watch server times, play wow economy smart and you make more gold. If you know more people on your server are the kind that PVP on weekends then you should sell PVP flask or enchants or gems in anticipation of that. Watch how prices change hourly. On some large servers the price of flask goes up 10-15 gold every night within a few hours of 6-8 server time as people are getting ready to raid. Keep an open eye and be patient and it will pay off. Make WoW money is just like making real money in many ways. People who don’t think never get rich in RL! works the same in WoW.

Also.......I predict prices will be higher soon on larger servers as some people who farm will get discouraged with low prices, i.e. decrease in supply. I myself am saving some frost lotus in anticipation of this.

yes it's all over for everyone. it's the end of botting all-to-gether. quit now. hey look another of the 25 we're all doomed because frost lotus' price is lower thread. i still make 3-5k a day with NO effort. cry me a river please.

i also find it beyond humorous how many millionaires, rocket scientists, doctors, lawyers, caped superheroes visit the botting forums of wow and it's bots.

personally i buy all the frost lotus on my server that dips below 40 gold, wait towards raid time, resell for 60-70g. everyone's happy. especially me.

lichbloom is 10g/stack on my server... flasks are only 20g. I have so much lichbloom and Icethorn i'm drowning in it haha, vendoring almost gives me as much money as the damn ah.
