I did now the modification and it's working. Removed the Mobs / Rep / Skills part, as this didn't really make sense to me. Created the Send Chat part as a popup, so from every chat window you can send something. When you click the name on the "Chat View Tabs" it will enter the name into the Send part - however you have to hit send afterwards, as I couldn't figure out how to open it while clicken the name. Same counts to chat channels. Click on a chat channel first and once you hit "send chat" you will see the channel entered there and you can just type your message. In the attachments you can find a zip file including the modified jar-file. The only modification I made was to the mobile.html. However if you don't trust me you can also download the mobile.html and put it in JGlideMon.jar\jgm\resources\httpd\static (open the jar file with WinRAR) -edit- Made some screenshots on my android (SGS 2) - ImageShack Album - 9 images
As I told you in my PM already, you don't have to open it on your phone... Download the JGlideMon linked in the first post. Download my jar-file and replace the existing one. Everything else is well explained in the first post and it's related help document.
Finally! I have been reading the forums and looking into peoples pluggins/apps for 2 days now, downloading, installing and "trying" to follow their pitiful guides most which required you to know how to setup extra 3rd party software. I have finally come across this forum and JGlideMon, it was really simple to download, setup and install just from reading the first post. I got it working really quick & easy, I didnt have to try and learn how to setup my own 3rd party database or anything stupidly over the top. I also setup the web browsing easily (so I can watch online from work! ) Thank you so much for your work with this, it really is appreciated! +Rep
First off, thank you so much for this plugin. With all the other monitoring plugins seeming to lose support in the last 6 months, this has been a great help. So I was wondering if it is possible to have the various tabs of your program output .log or .txt log files so when I let my bot run throughout the night and it errors out or goes crazy, I can then check what happened? The "Status", "Glider Log", "Chat", "Urgent" and maybe even Screenshots being archived would rock. I can't seem to find that option anywhere so if it truly does not exist, do you have any plans on implementing this and/or know a time frame on when you might be able to? Maybe even a temporary work around you could suggest? Thanks!
bradallaround, there is currently no way to log everything to a file, though I agree that is not a bad idea. By default the number of lines per tab is limited to 500. As a workaround you can change this number in File -> Configuration -> General -> Max entries per log tab. If your computer has enough RAM and you increase it from 500 to a sufficiently large number (which you will have to determine) you should be able to see enough lines for a night.
Not sure if this has ever been corrected. Its clunky, but if you deselect your plugin before exiting on every instance of HB from the same folder you will be able to change the port per honor buddy instance. If you don't you have to load one HB and then turn it off, then you have to do it again. I intended to write a more detailed explanation but the easy fix is copy your honorbuddy folder for each instance. I was using it from the same folder for a while and if your WoW or HB crash for some reason its just a headache to get them all running again. If anyone wants a more detailed explanation on how to do it from one folder I'll type out a short guide.
Great that was super helpful, and I look forward to a possible log output in the future. One last thing I thought about today while using BGBuddy was if you could implement and/or give a work around for disabling the death sound in BGs only. I like it on for when I am in mixed mode doing questing/bgs, but in the BGs I die every 30 seconds so it gets really annoying. Aside from babysitting the computer and turning it on and off (the sound) anything you can suggest? Thanks again
Great project, thanks for reviving it. Only small problem I still have is with screenshot...I'm in the same boat as some others, can't get it to refresh. Occasionally it posts one screenshot when the session first begins but then never updates again. I've tried playing with all the settings to no avail. I noticed that in some of the old jglidemon changelogs the dev talked a lot about screenshot updating problems; has anyone else who was having this issue been able to fix it?
Hello , I've a question how i could join the webserver , i've enabled it on port 3201 ... but i don't know how i could connect outside
You need to now how to open up the port in your firewall on your modem, if you have no idea what you are doing it might not be worth it, however you can probably just google the model you have and find a guide. (there use to be a very good site for pulling up step by step guides for a plethora of different ones, but I cant remember what it is unless anyone else knows?) After that, you can basically browse to your IP address provided to you from your internet provider, and your in. (if you dont know what your IP is, go to a site like this What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...) The only issue with this is that you probably have a dynamic IP address which means it changes all the time. I personally like using a free program called no-ip (No-IP.com - Managed DNS - Free Dynamic DNS - Managed Email - 100% Uptime Guaranteed) you can set up an account, then in short create your own internet address. After that you download/install their software which basically uploads your current IP address and every time in changes to your no-ip account. So when you browse in the internet to you name that you created it will automatically redirect to your IP/home computer. Also when you do this, browsing off your iphone over the internet back to the machine works well, you don't have to do it from a computer I hope that helps and gives back to the community a little, there are plenty of guides out there and on the sites if you have any issue, you might just need to go step by step and slowly work your way through it.
Hello. I can't get the webmonitor to work. What I've done so far is: 1. Installing GliderRemoteCompat plugin on the computer running HB. 2. Installed and running JGlideMon with default settings on the computer running HB. Host: Localhost Port: 3200 3. Added 3200 and 3201 as an exception in windows firewall and opened them in my router as well. I've found my external ip adress (which is static): 217.xxx.xxx.xxx and my local ip adress: 10.x.x.x When I'm on my other computer (currently logged on my local network, but I guess both ip adresses should work then?) I have opened google chrome and typed in 217.xxx.xxx.xxx:3201 and I've also tried with 10.x.x.x:3201. Google chrome says that it wasn't able to connect to the adress(es). Where have I gone wrong? Thanks in advance Jaimay
