Wrong. You obviously do not talk to resellers at all. I resell myself and I deal with around 10-12 other resellers and it is because of a dupe that prices are horrible. The dupe is the main reason but another huge reason is the free 90's blizzard has been giving away with WOD accounts. The Chinese are exploiting the shit out of them with dungeon bots. 100's per server and they get them free. And exactly when did prices jump? Because they have not jumped at all. Please dont comment on something you know nothing about. it ruins any credibility you have.
They have actually not jumped at all for the last 2 expansions. People expected the same thing last expansion and it didnt happen for the same reason. There was a Dupe right at the end of cata that totally flooded the market with gold.
its almost shameful how low prices are and have been. its long been evident that the prices of gold = A) automated programs farming it or B) chinese willing to work for a dollar a day. otherwise it wouldnt be economically feasable. Heck even if you had people willing to work for peanuts, without automation it wouldnt be worth the trouble at the current rate. Ffar as me not talkin to buyers I chat with them on the phone managerz of a couple of the largest buyers on phone on the regular. Matter of fact I predicted the rapid decline of gold prices 2.0 drop in proce 3 months peior to the price drop back in wotlk because I was informed of a arrangment
And they have jumped actially from .4 - 1.2 @ cata and .2 - 1.0 durring mop. And the chineese are only a small portion of problem.

.25 is the wholesale price. to get this price, you must be willing to buy all gold offered at any time. that means if someone contacts you with 300k at 3am, you need to be there to buy it. If 3 people hit you up at the same time, all with 250k, you need to be able to buy it. and be able to buy it from just about any server. otherwise, you get the retail price, like everyone else. .50-1usd per 1000.
I agree I don't think it's a dupe or chinese I've been talking to sellers and they say that they get banned the same day a lot now on trading accounts instead of running for over a month. I think Blizz is targeting re-sellers harder than bots (food chain mentality) and that is why they are willing to pay less for gold knowing it is less secure and they have to spend more to stay in business. Gold is still 0.5 USD for the retail price so I think we are just experiencing less efficiency for the re-sellers which affects the price they are willing to take.

On most servers price is 0.08$/k on high pop 0.15-0.20 well gl guys. Hahahahahaahhaaaaaa They have not done shit against dupes for over months.
