Who knows why D3 crushes so often? Get the DB_Run: Command-line based Anti-Crash and Relogger plugin by teivovo it is 100% AFK. For anyone that has DIII slows down to a stutter, if you haven't seen this workaround, increase the priority of the Diablo III.exe to above normal: See here
I'm still getting this problem after installing all necessary software including net framework and C++ package. I increased the memory from 1.5GB to 2GB so I will see if that fixes anything. Here's a screenshot of the issue, funny thing is that if you dont click the box the bot continues to run normally... http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/6409/sdaasde.jpg Note: Adding 100 megs of extra memory seemed to of fixed the issue, im at 1.6 GB memory now and its running fine, will update if any issues arise. Also a note to people who experience choppiness, if you have a dual core processor or quad core for that matter, make sure that # of processors is set to one and that core per processor (aka thread) is set to 2. This greatly improved performance.
Actually it means you can run multiple bots on one computer which is nice, as well you can multitask and do other things In the background while running the bot, currently I can Play gw2 while botting. Very nice.
every time i put in mainMem.useNamedFile=FALSE MemTrimRate=0 prefvmx.minVmMemPct = "100" prefvmx.useRecommendedLockedMemSize = "TRUE" sched.mem.pshare.enable = "FALSE" it tells me it has a dictionary problem and doesnt open
followed the guide exactly as OP, even got "***" up and running as well. Right now I have 2 VM's set up. I can run only one VM at a time however when running D3, its more-so a loading issue. It seems that even with an SSD installed they dont want to share the files. When I load one game up, then the other I get a "Cannot load game at this time" error box without an error code. I am aware that D3 actually constantly reads from the hardrive for game files so are you sure its using only one install am I missing something here? Note: Re-installed everything I think this actually may be memory related. Is 6GB of DDR3 in dual channel mode enough to run 2 bots? Still getting the "cannot load game at this time" message on my second VM... UPDATE 1: Im a computer newb.... didnt bother checking the host PC's task manager. The system memory was around 90% loaded with 6GB of memory. I guess that simply isnt going to be enough. Im going to research what sticks I need to buy that will be compatible. But this def confirms that its running out of memory. For now I guess I gotta stick to 1 bot =/ Gonna buy some more sticks. Other than my own personal hardware limitations I wanna say thank you to the OP for this great guide double thumbs up man ^_^ And another quick question, will 8x2 GB of memory be enough Ram to run 4 bots? I have attached 2 images of my ongoing issue. Another weird thing is that the bot continues to run for quite some time before the program force closes after the error box appears... and yes I have installed all the latest C++ packages as well as frameworks. Thanks. UPDATE 2: Still cannot run 2 bots at one time, getting "could not join game at this time" dialogue error. Also forgot to mention, I'm running Raid0 configuration on my system.
mine just said i only got 25 days of use before needing to enter a product key for win 7 anyone know a keygen or workaround
first of all, many thanks to shaliuno for this awesome guide. as a complete newbie to VM, the guide helps a great deal in setting up my machine. so, i have a question regarding v.p.n. i've never used any v.p.n. before and it seems like once i subscribed a service i will have to install an app or something. regarding the app, should i install it on each vmguest? any other advice on setting up separated v.p.n. on each vmguest? thanks!
Yes install it on each VMGuest, you will have to login with your information on each VM. Now just set each one individually to different IP's and you should be good to go. Also be sure to use cmd and check their mac adresses. Be sure that they all have their own unique macs. Do this by using cmd and typing: ipconfig /all This should give you a list of different address's, look under your local address and check each machine has a different physical address. ---------Question for the OP------------ Is 6GB enough memory to get this working for multiple machines or will I need more memory? I have been having loads of trouble setting up more than 1 VM because of loading issues ect, please see my previous post. This problem is driving me nuts!
I got to this part then i got stuck 6) Now the most part. Make sure you have your Diablo III on VMware Host. For reference I'll use following paths. Code: Ciablo III Ciablo III - Demonbuddy CrogramDataBattle.net so do i copy the diablo 3 from my main PC in to vmware Hard drive? the Vmware host refer to the first vmware that i installed right?
I'm curious, what is the reason for using 32 bit windows on the VMs? Is there an advantage to either 64 or 32? I have a 64 bit processor so I'm just curious if I should use the supplied ISO or strip down a win7 64 install.
why do i need write rights on shared folders? i think it doesn't write to Z:\ but without write rights diablo doesn't start at all...
Having an E8500 CPU and 4 Go RAM, I guess that's not for me.. Anyway, somewhere it's written about ban Agent.exe, Blizzardupdater and so on, Does actually someone do that ?
Shaliuno does this mean you only get 4 bots (ie 8 cores) out of your i7 3770k? I find I can get 4VMs running 1cpu 2 cores per vm running and then also run one copy of diablo on my host OS (so 5 copies total running) but then my cpus sit around 95-100%. Not sure how people get 8-12 copies running. Overclocking?
Without going the MSDN subscription.... how do you folks get around the windows activation thing? If I buy one legit copy of windows and activate the first VM, will all the clones be activated also?
