[H - Quest] 10-60 Kalimdor (LowHangingFruit AFK)

Regarding the Outlands portion, I am actually planning on talking with Eddie (and others) about joining forces but haven't had the time (*shakes fist*....damn you RL!). The LoadProfile CB is now stable and packaged with HB, so it is within the realm of possibility you'll be seeing a chain of profiles that are separately maintained but linked, possibly all organized through one SVN server. Then it would be a joint effort with "curators" rather than separate profile writers. The end product would be a package of profiles that automatically chain together for the end user (you guys) yet still allows profile writers to maintain their own portion of the overall profile. Eddie is still actively maintaining his 60-70 profile so I have no intentions of 'taking over' or anything like that. Still, it's apparent that there's a demand for a unified profile. We'll see..........clearly it's still at the brainstorming stage......

Is there anyway to start this after your past 10? I'm 15 and it keeps trying to go back to the start of barrens to pick up Preserving the Barrens then just starts killing random stuff.

 

Just open the profile and rip out line 270 (<!-- BEGIN NORTHERN BARRENS QUESTING -->) until line 351 ( <TurnIn QuestName="In Fungus We Trust" TurnInName="Apothecary Helbrim" QuestId="13998" TurnInId="3390"/>) that should do the trick.

This profile is incredible. The best profile on the forum by a long way.

 

i have been using your profile and its been very good, fully afkable up untill that iv hit level 26, now i keep getting the same error even if i take all the quests or remove the quests

Nice profile so far. I ran into one problem on the quest king of centaur mountain he fallows the guy up the mountan but didn't attack the mobs fast enough and the escort guy died and he came into a fail quest loop.

Just curious. None of the escorts work for me heh.

Everytime I get to an escort quest I have to pickup the quest for him. He just goes the the guy and if hes walkin around he follows him but wont pick up the quest. If hes just standing there he sits by him, and just wont pick up the quest. It thinks it just has to follow him for some odd reason.

No big deal really. I just escort myself when it happens. But just letting you know.

 

Okay i download everything perfectly no problems.. i started up 1-10 level up thingy. but all it does is walk to the enemys and doesnt att. plz someone reply. it wont ever attk anything

Now I'm leveling a rogue at the moment in Combat and when encountering 2 enemies, the bot activates blade flurry but doesnt turn it off after both mobs are dead? Bug?

According to your log you've got a quest behavior that's not compiling (InteractWith.cs). Make sure you're only using quest behaviors that were packaged with HB for this profile. I have seen this error a few times myself (not that compile error specifically, but the object reference error) - restarting HB usually "fixes" it.

This is really more of a CC and/or gearing issue. As CCs get better this issue will go away. At the level I have the char do the quest they should be more than high enough to complete it though. However, I do realize that most people (including myself) don't run to the AH to buy gear until at least level 20, so I'll be adding some code to have the chars try the quest more than once.

Make sure you're using the latest version of HB with only the packaged quest behaviors. The escort CB has been fixed for over a month now, assuming you're not using a 3rd party CB. That being said, if you fail an escort quest, the quest behavior will likely still follow the NPC around. If you are using the latest version of HB with only packaged behaviors and you didn't fail the quest before seeing this behavior, post your log and I'll have a look.

This is purely a CC issue. Post a description of the issue you're running into along with a log on the CC's forum so that they can take a look and hopefully improve the combat logic. I'm not sure which CC you are using, but I highly recommend Singular. It is still buggy but it's under heavy development and is rapidly improving. Check it out. That goes for all classes, actually.

I used this on Friday and by sunday I was level 58 and ready for TBC dungeons, so thanks for that. I think the only problem with the profile is sometimes you have a full level grind but at these particular points i just did low level dungeons.

 

Yep, those grinds are unavoidable when I restrict the profile to only use one continent and only the quest behaviors that come with HB. Eventually I'd like to see the HB devs allow people to opt for Mixed Mode only during grinds in the questing bot (rather than mixed full-time). As HB evolves the grinds will be reduced and eventually removed, but unfortunately for now the grinds once in a while must stay.

Seems to be class specific. I started a warrior and it was picked up from the same person but was called something else. I did it manually and removed it from the xml file and it was fine after that

good in the first place as much for congratulating by this great profile the one to him of 1-10 as the one of 10-60. I am raising to a gerrero this level 25 but from level 20 it puts grinding not if this or or something happens so that previous mind the levels that habia that grind ponia grind to level 20 for example but now only puts grinding I wait for its answer muhcas thanks. again to congratulate to him by its profiles

it keeps trying to pick up a quest that isnt there? i was using a different profile before and maybe that has already completed it? Is there anyway for the bot to pick this up?

it just stands there and keeps trying to talk to the npc... but the quest isnt there. it even says in the log
