Are you advocating we use version 1.9.5.2 ? Also, I had a couple popups about memory access/wow crashing... I also noticed my hunter managed to feed his pet before the cooldown of the feeding
to every one. Ok for every one who got banned for AH use. be smart. farm on your lvl 80. then buy a new wow account for 6.88 euros at. i don't know if i am allowed to post a link here. but send me an Private message if you want the link. then let the alt account sell your auctions. if that account gets banned it wont harm your main account /character (( the one you put effort in))
I got banned last year in the first and only ban wave, Lost my main account (mage with over 350 days /played, shaman in full Ulduar HC gear :/) But havent had a problem since tho
Banned from Glider - Banwave of 11/30/06 Banned from Honorbuddy - Back there was an old code used for most CC's. If you used this code, your account got banned. It was considered a banwave for Honorbuddy back last year sometime(I totally forget the exact date), but yeah. Since most HB users then were using CCs anyways, we were all coders when it first came out , so yeah...
CC's? Think you mean other bots, GB was on a Adres that was used by LuaNinja and it got targetted, and unfortunate we used the same so we got hit to. Untill now the one and only banwave GB/HB has, more will come but when is always a big questionmark! it was around oktober I believe, quite soon after they announced a leveling bot If I'm correct. and here we are today making proper new chars to farm with!
Id have to agree that a large portion of bans are likely player reports however Im not sure about auction house usage. Actually my longest standing account has never used the auction house to sell anything Also my only 72hr ban has been while leveling and my only perma ban is from after selling a very large sum of gold... ironically the same account that was suspended.
Although I never gathered enough evidence, I can say without a doubt that this would get someone banned mostly due to the fact that people run kicks questing and then let it go without touching it. Vendoring too much = Ban (Hawker told me this, credits to him) No Auctioning = Ban (please note, this doesn't include player reports, player reports will override this and acts as a ban mechanism on it's own) Using my own private questing profiles, I can see how easily other people can get bannned when using public questing profiles... the pathing is the same direction as well it's not even random, I sometimes have to define my own hotspots when I run into someone using Cava as I used Zygors too. 4 years late ^^ but the system is still there, and someone bumped the thread anyway (only reason I saw) by voting so I'm not necro bumping.
