Hi, Wtfmofo, and thanks for following-up. We chatted with Highvoltz about this issue, and he seems to think it may be a WoWclient glitch. Occasionally, the WoWclient will display the names of one of the players as "Unknown" (and that player's information is not available to Honorbuddy). This is caused by server-induced lag (usually from zoning), among other reasons. Please try to note if any of your party members are identifying their peers as "Unknown" the next time this problem happens. We know its a PITA, but you might try cycling the WoWclients of all your party members and see if the problem goes away. We've opened feature request HB-969 ("Display the SafeName of Dungeonbuddy Followers?") to try to help us determine if this is the case. Please let us know if the problem persists (and toss us the leader's log again), so we can see if a pattern emerges. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Granis, No, we do not intend that dialog to go away, as its a great way to get your WoWaccount banned. We're not kidding about "don't AFK while raiding". cheers, chinajade
Hi again, Toml96 and Namednoob, and thank you for the follow-up. We've augmented the reports accordingly. cheers, chinajade
No i understand that, but what i mean is. Is it possible to add a ON/OFF kinda thing to it? Im rarly AFK while botting theese days, and sometimes i play other games and its annoying when that message comes up and tabs me out from the game im playing.
Hi, Wtfmofo, and thank you for the additional log. We've opened HB-971 ("DungeonBuddy leaving dungeon, because it (wrongly) believes "Followers are not in group"") against this issue. Your logs are not showing anything untoward, and the problem will need to be investigated. We can think of no work-around for the problem at the moment, and are very sorry for the inconvenience. cheers, chinajade
Much respect to chinajade and Highvoltz. Obviously I was doing something wrong and they were able to pinpoint it. Working great now.
Hey Chinajade, replying in place of Razor as I can see the problem in BRC too. The Karsh Steelbender's mechanic should work as this: - run throught the central lava pillar to get the boss 2-4 stacks of debuff - run out and keep dpsing until the debuff wears off the boss - rinse repeat What the bot actually does: - runs into the pillar - runs out of the pillar with a couple of stacks on boss - turns around and immediately runs in again - rinse repeat This way my lvl 90 tank managed to get to 31 stacks until he died, as he doesn't even do any damage to the boss for being busy with running through the pillar. The log doesn't seem to show anything useful - with all the time bot spends running in and out the combat routine hasn't been called a single time! Combat movement has been disabled in Singular so this seems to be DBs full responsibility. Here's the crucial part of the log (full log attached, of course): Code: [11:36:15.161 N] (Singular) <<< ADD >>> CurrentTarget now: Karsh Steelbender.259A h=100.0%, maxh=893580, d=3.8 yds, box=6.8, player=N, hostil=Y, faction=16, loss=Y, face=N, agro=Y, IsBotPoi=Kill, TargetIndex=1 [11:36:15.163 N] (Singular) .... h=99.3%/r=12.0%, Ultim=False, Targ=Karsh Steelbender.259A 100.0% @ 3.8 yds Melee=True Facing=False [11:36:15.170 N] [Singular] *Shield Slam on Karsh Steelbender.259A @ 100.0% at 0.0 yds [11:36:15.434 D] (Singular) CanCast[Demoralizing Shout]: still on cooldown for 58011 ms [11:36:15.439 D] (Singular) CanCast[Recklessness]: still on cooldown for 178410 ms [11:36:15.443 D] (Singular) CanCast[Skull Banner]: still on cooldown for 178792 ms [11:36:15.282 N] (Singular) [WoWRedError] Target needs to be in front of you. Hi, Wtfmofo, and thank you for following up. Could you please tell us what you believe was the problem/corrected the problem, so we will know what to look for in the future? cheers & thanks, chinajade
Hi China, Loving dungeonbuddy immensely have botted 2 teams of 5 from 15-90 great work One question do you have dungeon id's for specials like frost lord ahune, Halloween etc? I chose the frost lord boss from the dungeonbuddy drop down list but when the bots entered the dungeon it stopped and said dungeon id not found.
Hello CJ. I had bots on Area 52 and when I entered it in to followers I entered "Area 52". Problem was that with the space the leader didnt think the group was full. Once I changed it to "Area52" the leader knew I had a full group and worked like normal. Was easy to figure out once Highvoltz gave me a script to try. Thanks again!
I have a strange problem, when I am in a raid (spoils of pandaria) the bot never stops running all over the place, and running over to the lift and going up and comes back down. I getting “following quadrant leader” in my log also on (Thok the bloodthirsty) it is running all over the place.
well, today my 5 man bots died over 30 times on that boss then i had to change random dungen to specific one.
Bot doesn't leave instance after completed Summary: Bot doesn't leave dungeon after complete Class: Warrior CustomClass: Singular Role: Tank (Prot) Queue Type: Farming Party Mode: Off Dungeon: Shadowfang Keep I'm farming some wool running SFK with my level 90 prot warrior. The bot enters the dungeon and runs through it just fine. Complete's everything and runs all the way back to the portal but stops just shy of leaving the instance. It will just sit there forever. If I manually nudge it out it will reset and enter the instance and run it again just fine with the same result at the end of just sitting at the portal and not exiting. It does the same thing if inventory gets full and it needs to sell it will run to the portal entrance and just sit there. I've tried this on a couple different characters and accounts with the same exact result. I turned on verbose logging and ran the instance again just now, log attached.
In farming mode, when the bot leaves the dungeon to sell it uses a ground mount. Is there a way to force it to use the flying mount?
im having issues running this on my priest, i disabled the angel feathers and its the same thing, the post and log can be found here https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...rt/168852-dungeonbuddy-constantly-moving.html
Hey - I'm having issues when running 5 man dungeons, always at one called The escape from Durnholde. 70% of the time, it fails to interact with Thrall - while it's trying to interact, it aggro's mobs - ofcourse the bots are dying while running around like a headless chicken. This causes death and makes them try again with the same results now because they are pulling alot more mobs they normally don't pull when running straight to Thrall causing them to go on an endless loop.
