HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

Summary: Secondly, in DB, I'm doing the LFR raids. Just leaving it to do them, but switching profiles inbetween (which as previously stated, can crash the client). However, while in a raid, the bot does seem to usually attack things etc... but it seems sometimes, it just runs back to the start of the raid. And then stands there, or gets stuck running against a wall. Kind of annoying, it wasn't doing this last week.
To clarify: I HAVE updated the client, yet again, from the prompt I had this morning, and this website. Neither of them have fixed this problem. It seems to be whenever the group isn't fighting (IE, just before a boss/waiting for a new member to join), the bot runs all the way back to the start of the raid. Anyone got any ideas what's going on, or if I've done something wrong somewhere? Thank you.

This issue isn't with DB it is with HB

 

not according to the update from highvolt that said it was a DB issue just 10 posts ago

 

It was my understanding, that it was a nav issue with HB, highvolt has already fixed the DB problems

 

Just a Quick Question, i saw highvolt said they have fixed DB, but not yet live. When will it go live? Cause now DB dosent really work at all for raids REally sad!

 

Goes ok, then jyst runs back to the start of the raid and eventually gets booted.

 

I started DB Bot in Guardians of Mogu'ahan LFR Bot did first trash pull then ran back to a starting point. i stoped the bot ran back to the boss and started bot after boss fight started . after boss fight the bot ran back to the starting point and just stood there doing nothing. as the rest of the raid pulled trash I waited to see if the bot would go back to the raid. The Bot did'nt move so I stoped the bot. ***Log 9008***

I ran The Vault of Mysteries and it tried to run out of the zone. it ran in to a door pulling mobs from the other side. after clearing trash it ran back to the zone in and stood there doing nothing. stoped the bot moved to the boss and restarted . in the boss fight soon as one of the Spirit kings died the bot tried to run back to the zone only to run in to the event wall . soon as the next Spirt king was up and fighting bot joined the fight. was funny to see him try to run out every time we killed a spirit king. *** Log 8184***

 

DungeonBuddy was never updated through svn, the scripts are however updated each time you start it.

 

Mogu'shan Palace has issues. It's killing the first three bosses, but then running into the door at the far side of the chamber rather than down the ramp to do Gekkan.

And FFS please add an almighty 'dead zone' of X <= -4590 during the Xin the Weaponmaster fight (except on the pull) so my toons don't always stand in the path of those F*ing daggers. Pull him to the door, and then fight in that small area before the first dagger stream.

 

Still no script for SoO?

 

So is Dungeon basically useless right now? Will not follow groups. Stands AFK. I basically only use this bot for bgs and dungeon buddy and half of my sub fees I pay don't even work.
Can we please have an update on what is going on?
We are paying customers, just asking for some info.

 

If you search the threads, once the new HB comes out it will be fixed

Funny, I seem to be running heroic dungeons just fine with the exception of Mogu'shan Palace - see note posted previously.

 

Beta of HB dungeon buddy can't even do Coren Direbrew

 

^ this, if you can babysit the bot; otherwise do NOT run DB before an HB update fix to the current issues.

So honestly, what's going on? My character will just stand there in LFR. It might start off ok, but end up running back to a certain spot until the group kick him. I can't seem to get a straight answer on this, and if the answer is "It will be fixed with the new HB' that's not really good enough. This is easily the most useful bot based plugin (with the exception of GB) and for it to be in this state is just poor form.

 

The answer had to be good enough. It will be fixed when the new HB is released. Highvoltz said that there was a bug/error that they over looked on the release. Yes it sucks, NO there is nothing that you can do about it.
