Pull more Mobs should be Disabled by Default. I tested it over the last night with 8 Chars (and Pull Count 2 and 3) but while Questing it makes lot of Problems and Stucks. Kick's Questing Profiles works best with only Pull 1 Mob.
MaxMuster, Thanks for the post. I have given this a good bit of thought, and setting the count to 1 is not an extremely obvious means to disable the feature, so am adding a new setting named Use Pull More. This setting will have support the following choices: Off, On, and Auto. Off and On settings will have an absolute effect (option will either be on or off, nothing more needed.) Auto (the default value) will turn on Pull More only in obvious "grinding" situations, so initially just when the Grind bot is in use. The Auto setting will likely evolve to include more but that is an obvious one for now. Thanks for the post and if you can provide any logs / instances of specific cases where it became stuck please let me know. The only stucks I have seen relative to this didn't occur while in combat, but were due to quest logic which was very position specific/sensitive and the character being in a different area at the point combat concluded than the profile expected. -Bobby53
velonici, The logic which controls using Trinkets also does Glove Tinkers. There is a bug where it checks to see if any Trinket was enabled for use and if not it omits that part of the behavior. Will be fixed in the next release, but for now just set one of your Trinkets to a use other than None and your glove enchant will be used. Thanks for the help, -Bobby53
*new* Singular v3.0.0.3629 available for download! For full details read the Change History below. A complete Change History is always provided. See the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post for details on how to request assistance, post about a problem, or ask questions about the behavior of your botting session with Singular. Still receiving too many bug/question posts regarding behavior users watched that don't contain a complete log file and point of reference to when a single event happened. So, no multi-color bright lights this time. Just a simple request to provide the detail. Don't forget to use the LOGMARK! button. It is located on the Class Config window and will place a mark in the log file making it easy for you to indicate when something happened that you have a question about or problem with. This button provides the same behavior as the LOGMARK plugin. Having a problem while running Singular that you want to report? Click the LOGMARK button immediately when you notice. A line will be added to the log file at that time and now you have a very accurate way to let me know when the problem occurred. Ok, now that's out of the way: - Download the latest version of Singular.ZIP from Post #1 in this thread - .ZIP in Singular thread will always be the current version - HonorBuddy will contain an older version until a new release of HB posts Any post must include a debug log file (a file created with Debug Logging set to true.) To do this, click Class Config and set the Debug Logging option to 'true' then run until you create the issue again. The resulting log file will contain more info than a standard log file which will be essential in understanding the decisions being made by Singular which you weren't expecting. As always, the prior version is still available for download. If you encounter a problem due to the new release of Singular you can always downgrade as needed. Worth mentioning one more time due to the large number of posts without log files that are received, but you must attach a complete debug log with any post. Please see the link at the top of this post for details.
Singular supports Discipline Priest Healing, one aspect of which is Atonement. You can configure the settings controlling this ability on the Group Healing page. Note: settings there are context specific (Battlegrounds, Instances, Raids) so select the correct context for the values you want to change first. -Bobby53
Can I set my own talents or does singular work together with auto-equip on that function? Thanks Bobby53, sorry for any confusion made, I meant the Character Manager and not auto-equip. I thought maybe you guys worked together and the developer of character manager created the talent settings for optimum results with singular. But glad to know I can set my own talents for preference.
izzy, Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on something working well for you! Best of luck with your Singular toon, Bobby53
Angelus, Singular is a combat routine so does not select talents or equipment. It does however customize its behaviors (so the reaction of the character) based upon the talents selected. So you can either select your talents manually, or have the Character Manager in HonorBuddy select them -- Singular doesn't care how they were set. Same thing for gear and whether you use the auto-equip feature of Character Manager or a WOW Addon. For more details on how those work, you will want to post in HonorBuddy Support as this thread is for questions/issues specific to Singular. Thanks for the post and good luck with your toons, Bobby53
This is a Lazyraider + Singular post. I play a Paladin and I when I pop my CDs (Avenging Wrath and Guardian of Ancient Kings) Singular is casting Hammer of Wrath, Exorcism, Hammer of Wrath, Templar's Verdict and repeating this if Art of War procs. If Art of War doesn't proc, then it changes Exorcism with Crusader Strike. This means that the skill priority in singular is set to Hammer of Wrath > Exorcism > Crusader Strike > Judgement. The same priority is used for regular DPSing (outside of CD usage) by the way, I just find it easier to see when CDs are on. Well, the best priority order is Hammer of Wrath > Crusader Strike > Exorcism > Judgement. How do I change this? EDIT: fixed some stupidity
DecessusFar, Thanks for the post. I am assuming you are referring to the Instance spell priority (which is not the same as that for Normal (solo) and Battlegrounds. The current spell priority for Singular Retribution Paladin in Instances is: Inq > 5HP TV > ES > HoW > CS > Judge > Exo > 3-4HP TV (> SS). If you aren't seeing that spell priority, be sure to follow the steps in Reporting Bugs (click here). The EJ concordance on Ret Pallies has been updated to indicate the priority should now be: The EJ concordance info on Ret Pallies however has been updated so in the next release I'll revise to: Inq > ES (> 5HP T16 Free DS) > 5HP TV > HoW (> T16 Free DS) > CS > Judge > Exo > 3-4HP TV (> SS). Look for that in the next release. The spell priority is controlled somewhat by the Class Config, but to implement a different spell priority than that provided you will need to modify the source code. While source modification are permitted, they aren't supported and will likely be broken by subsequent changes made to support that class. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Paladin, -Bobby53
Biggz67: A few quick points: 1. Feedback, issues, and atta-boys regarding Singular should be posted in the Singular thread to ensure they are reviewed. I monitor the Singular thread closely, but can't keep up with posts made throughout the rest of the forums in other topical areas. Seeing your post was fortunate but purely accidental. 2. A new feature named Pull More! was added to Singular recently which allows the "user" to control how many additional mobs to pull during Combat. There are a number of settings allowing you to customize the behavior as you see fit (click Class Config and look for the Enemy Control - Pull More! section on the General tab) . See the Singular Change History (included in the Singular download) or in the post announcing the availability of the updates. 3. The default behavior for Pull More! is that Pull More Usage is set to Auto, which means it is off for all BotBases except Grind Buddy and Grind Bot. When grinding the purpose of the activity is typically to kill as many mobs of a certain type as quickly as possible. If you are using one of the Grinding Botbases in a different fashion where pulling additional mobs in combat is a problem please post in the Singular thread providing the info described in Reporting Singular Bugs (click here). 4. Prior to your post there have been only two pieces of feedback in the Singular thread. One requesting the feature be disabled during Questing (the Pull More Usage setting which defaults to Auto was added in response to their feedback) and the other thanking us for adding the ability to Singular. 5. The user has full control over a robust group of settings governing all aspects of how aggressively their character should be when Pull More! is enabled. I don't anticipate any changes at this time but am open to improving based upon detailed user feedback. 6. Based on your post I reviewed the recent HonorBuddy release and noticed that the Singular Change History does not appear in HonorBuddy Release notes or other information. Unless a member monitored the Singular thread, the new behavior would have been unexpected. I'll pass that along to the HonorBuddy Devs to assess whether those notes should be incorporated and to what level of detail. If you or other members have feedback or a specific request regarding any Combat Routine you will want to post in the thread associated with it. For Singular, please be sure to follow the steps in Reporting Singular Bugs (click here) and author those posts in the Singular thread. Thanks for taking the time to post look forward to your feedback going forward, -Bobby53
Bobby you are awesome... As sad as this is, I didnt even know there was the "pull more" option.. and this has fixed everything I was having issues with. HB is back to perfect order for me once again. Thank you yet again!
Hi Bobby53, I am currently running a 5 man group with a druid healer using singular. But I can't get it to healing my party whenever I am out in the world (timeless isle) It seems to use its solo dps routine and disregard my tank his health, is there a way how I can tell it to heal my party? Thanks Bobby53, sorry for not posting a log, but I didn't consider it to be a bug, more of an user-error And the bolded part makes so much sense and I have also done it, but assigning roles just didn't came to my mind.
Angelus, Please be sure to follow the steps in Reporting Singular Bugs (click here) when reporting an issue so I have the details needed to answer your question accurately. When your Singular character is in a party/raid in the world (outside of an instance) it behaves according to how your group is setup in WOW: 1. If a character in your group has the Tank role, then Singular will use Instance behaviors (Healer will heal, and and Tank and DPS will perform their functions without worrying about self-healing.) 2. If no character with the Tank role exists in group, then Singular uses its Solo (Normal context) abilities. This allows you to keep characters within a group but allowing them to function in an independent manner. This is useful for being able to track position of characters on in game map, to allow each to run the Questing bot at the same time without them having to be perfectly in sync, etc. So ultimately it reacts in a manner consistent with what it can determine from your group setup so my guess is the Tank role wasn't assigned to anyone. If you have any future issues, please be sure to include the details mentioned in the Reporting Bugs post linked earlier. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Druid, -Bobby53
While running dungeonbuddy in a 5 man team, my healer is getting this error and he just stops moving. Very frustrating View attachment 3760 2014-08-28 11.37.txt In short it's this [10:22:03.181 N] (Singular) .... h=100.0%/m=100.0%,combat=N,move=N,twaves=0,audtwaves=2,shield=WATER[49],heal=Me hh=100.0% @ 0.0 yds,hcombat=N,hph=100.0%,htloss=True,eshield=N,riptide=0,tank=(null), target=(null) If keeps returning. Especially in the Scarlett Halls. Just standing there doing nothing, tank won't move anymore cuz the healer is not in range.
Abyssion, That isn't an error message, it is a status message recording key values in the log file for review in instances like this. Based on the messages I am seeing, your Shaman is not in combat: Code: [10:22:03.181 N] (Singular) .... h=100.0%/m=100.0%,combat=N,move=N,twaves=0,audtwaves=2,shield=WATER[49],heal=Me hh=100.0% @ 0.0 yds,hcombat=N,hph=100.0%,htloss=True,eshield=N,riptide=0,tank=(null), target=(null) It is the botbases responsibility (DungeonBuddy in this case) to keep the character in the correct position relative to the Tank. The tank=(null) that I highlighted indicates that there is no Tank within (75 yards) which is the maximum heal target distance in your config. This appears to be outside the bounds of Singular. You will want to post in the DungeonBuddy thread as it should be keeping group members together. I will send a message to them as well and look to add some additional log statements concerning the group members, their roles, and their distance from the Healer but ultimately that would be to assist in their research. Good luck with your Shaman, -Bobby53
