This was fought out a couple years ago in court and blizz lost.. Why do you think HB is undetected, because they CANT scan outside of WoW.

Pretty much they can't do this because this is basically VERY GENERALLY LOOSELY how they won the case against wow glider. If they could scan outside legally then wow glider would still be here imo.
When you push I accept they can ban your account for any damn reason you have a license to a game you don't own anything but a license that can be revoked for whatever reason blizzard damn well pleases. They can scan your shit and then ban you for 3rd party program use and guess what? They don't have to disclose what or how the scanned it. Infact the only reason they need is because they said so.

indeed they can ban my account for any reason. and i can do nothing about it.

but they say they did because they've scanned my pc and found hb active, i will take action. and i will succeed. again, the other thread states that he has been sent an email stating that blizz scanned.

this is not about banning the account, again, its about violating law & privacy

They can scan the WoW memory space legally.

      Ninja edit

and if they detect third party activity in the memory space of WoW they can legally ban you

Blizzard is able to Scan Ram memory, they get the Reports as Anonymous .
They now take this information to block/prevent future hacks with patch's.
Since 2 years ago, they are really getting lazy , and because they are under staffed they don't really bother to search for that anymore.
The reason they never patched /blocked botting is because they make a lot of money off of botters.
They put all the botters in a list, as a ::Queue type::they Pick a random 2 people out of the top 100 botters. if and when............ --->
---- the server becomes unstable, like lets say 25% bots 75% real people, they don't want the economy on the realm to suffer too much with complaints.
so they are forced to suspend/ban people.

the only thing i have to say about this is and this is from a wow vet and wow bot vet you knew the risk of using a bot the first time you started to bot wow or any other online game that you can get banned so drop it and close this conversation and lets talk about other things not about what the EULA says if you dont like what the EULA says then click the decline button and don't play wow

If it's true that they can't scan outside of WoW, then I can see why Honorbuddy is still in business. They do a good job of covering it up. However, most of you say It's the LAW!!!!11!1! :O without even knowing OR QUOTING a specific law.

agreed. if you cant put up with potential repercussions of your actions then you have no business complaining about it.

They do scan your RAM, they used to do it with WoW glider back in the day and ban people outright, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again, who knows? It's a risk we take by playing the botting game and we all deep down know the risk of doing it.

Im sure honorbuddy does have some form of protection against being detected. WoWglider used to hide it's self from warden. Granted it was a cat and mouse game and we used to get caught red handed but at the same time people also got away with it.
