I'm assuming the German courts split the money and took your dev team and lawyer out to drinks and dinner? ;)

This EXACT post, by you (Hawker), is floating around on Facebook in two WoW communities. The two communities are 'Girls Who Play WoW' and 'GotWarcraft'. Just thought I'd give you a heads up about it. It looks as though someone made a screenshot, then cropped it to include only this post.

I don't really know the point behind this, but I just find it somehow frustrating that we have possible members sharing things from the botting world with people who disagree with botting. That's just my take on it.

Hb can always set up shop in another country. Doesn't have to be Germany. blizz doesn't have time or money to pay off the whole world.

You are right, and they did not pay for 3 months, and they probably would have never paid, if there was not that case in Munich this August. I think they are aware of the pad position they are in, and they got drawed into, now they try to suck us off of money with XXX lawcases in XXX courts and hope that we go bancrupt, before they see the hammer comming from the higher courts.

Your post sounds more like a personal opinion based simply because you don't like WoW. That's fine. As far as better MMO's! It's all a matter of personal opinion on who thinks which one is better than another. Personally and after having been playing mmo's, pretty much since the internet became available to and for everyone, Wow has had them all beat. The numbers one can find that are public, across the board, prove this as fact when compared to the numbers of any other mmo out there past and present.

You wanting or dreaming that wow is going to go away anytime soon is just that! A dream! An empty hopeful delusion is all it is.

The company has become one of the most powerful, self regulating gaming companies out there. So powerful, that even laws have been placated to make room for their own ways. Case in point was Glider. Now they are after HB.

EVERYTHING YOU STATED, IS NOTHING BUT ABOUT A HATE YOU HAVE TOWARD WOW/ BLIZZARD (WHICH I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DO). But make no mistake ! It's not going anywhere for some time to come.

Sorry you are so delusional. Wish I could bring you back into reality, but it is obviously a hopeless endeavor. And no, blizzard nor any company has to make their numbers public record. There is not one law that tells a company that they have to go to the internet and post their quartering financial statements or amount of employees they have or how many customers they have for the whole of the world to see. There isn't one law that tells a company they HAVE to show the public anything. But if something is filed, through say a cities " tax assessors office", then yes, those become public record. If a court asks for them, then yes, they have to be shown to and only to the court. Not to the whole of the world. My words stand. You don't know the actual numbers anymore than any one else does in this site. The numbers aren't important anyway. The truth is! That despite your empty hopes! Blizzard nor wow is going down any time soon. It is not nor will go away. In truth, I see evidence of Blizzard attempting to bring players back into the game, even though too, they are hard and heavy trying to put botters in a hard way.

Just got a 72 hr suspension on my two accounts that I've been playing for 8 years. Not once till just last week, have I ever even been warned, much less had one or both suspended. A coincidence! Perhaps! Just an unlucky day! Perhaps! My time was going to come sooner or later! Could be! While I wouldn't consider it a part of a ban wave, I do seem to be hearing from people more about them being suspended or banned right now. I'd step out on a limb and say that Blizzard is not going away and is trying to do away with botters. But they've been trying to do away with botters for a long time. Will they succeed! Time will tell. But stop dreaming. It's going nowhere. Your attempt to say we have some law put in place for us! John C. Public, that makes Blizzard or any company give us all their numbers is hogwash. Produce that law and post it here. Otherwise it's not true. But even if it were true. You still don't have the actual numbers anymore than anyone else does.

WOW ... actually there are plenty of laws, each country has its own, for the US as example its Annual Report

Form 10-K - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

so this is pure stupidity what you write did you ever see an annual report, its 100s of pages big and it includes all the data you say it does not need to ...

Probably in North Korea, but then again there is no company besides the ones of the communistic party.

Joint-stock companies do have quite few reglamentations to follow, and yes Blizzard is such one.

sheesh give me a break. An annual report is for share holders and is not any sort of law stating they must disclose anything to the public. You are the public as am I and we are not shareholders of those therefore nothing has to be disclosed to us. But once disclosed, many are shown to the public too. But that doesn't make it a law. There is this thing also called the privacy acts. Don't' forget about that either. It's not a law that says: "Hey, you as a company, have to disclose everything to John Q. Public". or "You as a company have to give all information that John Q. Public wants when they ask for it". It's not there because there is no law that specifically says that in any way.

I'm not even a lawyer and I can see that the Annual Report isn't a law made for John Q. Public.

I hold graduate degrees in business law, and am an expert in business law. Just to set the record straight, there are federal laws administered by the US Trade and Securities Commission that require the Treasurer and President of every company to sign a formal affidavit annually to be filed with the companies financial disclosure (taxes) including an attachment of the companies annual report that attests to its accuracy of information and financial status. These forms are available to "John Q. Public" anytime due to the FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) which can be applied to government as well as public records. All you have to do is ask for them!

First of all i didnt read the whole thread, dosent want to get suked into the whole Shitstorm i saw commin up ahead, all i wanted to say abaut the whole thing is:

Actually its just the first step for Blizz to get their Foot into European Law, one thing i think none of you realized is that GER is Part of the EU, and within the EU all members part in it will accept the Judging of other EU Members and backing em up.
So over a curtain time its pretty sure other EU Countries will follow.

But anyway im GER Citicen and when i read the Court Papers it was kind of halariuos, that a so Stone cold Bourocratic System like mine is wasting my hard Botted Taxmony (Yes im actually paying my Tax for what i earn with all this ) to Judge over things like Automatet collecting of Clouds or other Virtual goods.

So i know its a hard beat up for bossland, and i will give them all supp i can offer but i think more will follow and sooner or later even using Bots will become illeagel, thx to our corrupt Corporate controlled Systems.

That will not happen Steiner, there still is a higher court as the local courts, the european court. And they made some very nice decisions lately, even decisions that come in our favour, all we need is, to fight all up to the top.

      And we do exactly this.
