This would totally ruin the whole Economy of the Game, i can't think that blizzard would actually do this, because they care alot of the game economy^^
Nah, botters are more of a threat to the economy with the shuffle being possible. They wouldn't change it for the PTR just to revert it back to normal on Live.
Lol with the 1.3m lost subs in 3 months time I doubt they will do this becouse it destables the economy more then bots who use this method.
Unless you are selling at 43g/stack or higher, every single one of your herbs that you are selling on the AH/COD/Trade chat is from inscription vendoring using this trick. The only reason why herbs are at a decent price of 30-40g is because there is a high demand by scribes as milling gives not only a turn-around profit by vendoring scrolls but also from selling starlight inks which average about 45g per. Trust me, your herb prices will suffer like the rest of us.
This would make herbalism obsolete. Right now flasks on most servers sell for little more than mat price and the 5% AH fee. Pair that with the fact that a golden lotus is worth much more, when used to make a gem that will sell for 150-300g (and most alchemists are transmute spec), there is absolutely no reason to farm herbs, buy herbs or in any way use herbs (except for private use as a raider). I haven't made a single flask in all of mop - it was always the least profitable way of processing mats. Blizzard knows this, so I suspect that other changes will follow.
Not really. Maybe the changes wont happen right away, but blizz cant allow a primary prof do be extinct.
there are many other ways to make gold. Motes are huge money maker if you can find the right spots and make your own profile. 1 primal=2 golden lotus=120g. The other day i had 2500 lotus's from the week with 3 accounts sold them all off at 1100g a stack.
Funny, i just started doing this yesterday. Anyone know what price herbs should be before you're losing gold from this?
