The project was not abandoned. The developer is still working on a newer version of instancebuddy. He is just waiting to release it. Although he was mad and said he abandoned it someone talked him into redeveloping it.
I am so happy to hear that. I've been using the archived version but I've been looking around for a closed beta that I heard about. You just made my day ^_^
Apoc was talking about my instancebot, not the one that was released. Mine is waiting to be released when paid plugins comes into play.
im guessing main features would be exit instance, reset, enter, start profile. and perhaps some object interaction.
Queue for instance via dungeon finder, accept, stay within x yards of the tank, while staying in LoS, (at least thats how I'm currently doing pathing). If the tank or you are in combat, it will begin handling it with the CC. Once the instance is completed, it will leave, and requeue. It supports customizing some variables and creating your own custom boss logic for individual bosses. It currently only supports healer and DPS, as it can't follow itself, but I am thinking about adding in tanking/soloing instances at a later date. And this is all done in a behavior tree, for those who know what that is. Basically, it means its awesome to those that don't =P I believe I covered the gist of what it does =P Although I could have overlooked something. Been programming a raytracer for my programming class, so I havn't looked at it in quite a while...
this thing works great. ran mutiple dungeons now! only prob sumtimes it jus likes to stop n stand in an instance. jus stop/start n it gets right back to it. thumbs up!
Why in outland does it refuse to load ther list of dungeons in specific dungeons. I don't want to do classic dungeons at level 60!
for now i use a tank controled by myself and dunatanks as a cc in combat bot and four shammies with shamwow last version..works very well . Except i m banned every week ...yes the 5 acccount at the same time so i have to write to blizard customers explaining i m a multiboxer using keyclone and they unban it in 20 minutes....So a mystical question.....there something that an automated process detects and ban at the same time...but blizzard gm dont really know why...coz they unban my five accounts as soon as i speak about multiboxing. Oh i have a hint the last time they ask me to change my connecting email....for more conveniance. Automated login flag seems the way they ban
Everything I have done and seen makes me consider Instance buddy highly non USABLE it functions it just isn't usable; also with RaF , I have a lot of PCs, the poor support for real multibox is sad
