Just got banned

I got my Ban lifted!!


I used a very sad and mostly truthful story to explain my long hours playing and I bought a RAF rocket mount in org and i think thats what did me over. I cried and said i didn't know it was illegal, which alot of people get confused on because its an In-game item. It is illegal though.

OH! and i only had one account.

I've been doing BGs lately, using BG Bot because i don't like PVP Bot... (it is not as smart as BG BOT). 8 hours per night, and i'm not selling anything... just buying honor gear. I just have one account. Do you think i should stop? (taking on consideration the recent ban wave).

 

If you were being looked at, you would have been banned already. I think your no more in danger to get banned now as you were yesterday. I'm going to continue to bot the same too. I used to get scared every time i saw a ban wave (some people don't believe in ban waves), but HB is good enough to avoid bans across its users.

 

Got 4 accounts here, been botting most days for the past 2 months, no problems here.
Use BGbot Beta on CTA if it is a well supported BG.

May leave CTA this weekend just to stay on the safe side. I don't know why they gave you the cheats/3rd party program ban though, you were probably reported then observed.

 

The problem with BG Bot is that it looks very, very bottish... I mean, right after i enter a BG, i can tell exaclty who's botting... we arelike 5 people running one on top of each other... we make the exact same movements at the exact same time... it makes 360 degree turns, which is impossible for a human being... sometime it runs in circles or mounts / unmounts ten times in a heartbeat... It is not as safe as you may think... still, i'm using it... Guilty as charged

 

BG-Bot uses patterns and it's behaviour is very easy to spot if you know what to look for.

I wouldn't do BG-Bot for 8hrs per day if u ask me.

 

Checked on my mage, who had been archying for about 2 hours (I want the epics!), and looked at my deaths... I was at 9, and I have LogMeOut set to 10 deaths=logout. An Ally hunter just happened to be doing the same Digsite as me, and decided to gank me a few times (9 to be exact lol).
I then proceeded to switch to Frost Spec, equip tha PvP epics, and gank him 3 times, until he decided to rez at healer and fly away.

I don't think the problem has to do with the amount of time you spend in BGs... I mean, you're going to be reported, you can be reported on your first BG or your last... It has to do with BG BOT's bottish behavior, so, it's up to each one to use it or not. And since PVP is broken since the last patch, (it doesn't attack), the only way to farm honor is by using BG BOT.

 

i farm with Lazyraider and let the bot do the fighting while moving and targetting manually.

I'd say it's the safest way.

 

They're very adamant about not lifting the ban on my account. I open a ticket, and they'll close it 30 seconds later saying they re-investigated it. Also said it was part of multiple accounts using exploitative activities and I only have 1 account.

 

That means they looking into multiple accounts at once. Blizzard lets the reports and such build up, then ban a bunch at once.
