Just got suspended

super banned. both account! yahhhhhhhhh

 

Hah, some guy just posted that people were getting banned by PQR and one of the mods had to edit the post to remove it.

In all seriousness, though, please take everything you read with a grain of salt. People are pipped up on adrenaline right now (including myself) because we got busted by "The Man" and no one seems to know why.

 

Yeah 72 hrs ban. Must be something in the air. Time 1302 cst

 

same here just got 72 hour bans on both accounts... i also use PQR from time to time, but I haven't played WoW in a few weeks so its a ban wave I would think

 

Seems like it may have been PQR - which I do admit to having used on my hunter every now and again when trying to squeek out extra DPS... hmmmm I don't do any "hacking" in the traditional sense, no speed hacks or flight hacks or anything like that but I have used PQR on that account, and my alt account which has never used PQR but HAS used HB was not hit...

 

I haven't received my email yet but when i try log in it says closed, which is perm. Yet on the forum i get that error.

 

Very interesting. I'm leaning toward something to do with PQR and not HB. Your post pretty much convinced me of this, but there's no way to know for a fact. I've been reading the Blizz forum and it seems like DPS toons have been hit. People are stating that their main DPS raiders have been banned, as well as a few tanks.

I ditched PQR a few weeks ago for HB, though, so I guess that makes me feel a little bit better that I got suspended for using a free program while the paid (HB) program is still alright. Regardless, I'm refraining from even starting up HB for at least a few weeks.

 

It's PQR. Haven't used it in months but got 72 hour on that account and my just honorbuddy account nothing.

 

yeah i mean i will be honest enough to tell you that my other account hasn't been played in a few weeks - but I DID use HB almost exclusively on it to do daily's and lvl up toons. it's interesting for sure, i'd love to hear an admin chime in when they get around to it, the reality is that we have no way of knowing i would bet dollars to donuts that if you start botting now you'd be fine again until the next wave - Historically blizzard has not banned onesies and twosies they have done mass bannings so that we do not know when or how we were detected, but the distinct difference that stands out in my mind is that one of them is my raid account where i *NEVER* bot unattended, EVER EVER EVER, and I largely use rotation managers - so I've used PQR when it is out performing and I've used HB when pure is out performing (currently) but I go back and forth between the two...

the second account is my old OG accounts from 2006, I've had since before the end of glider... and I haev never used PQR on it but have used HB on it a lot, but more sporadically for sure.

 

Also just suspended on 3/5 accounts. Evidence from my PoV:

Acct1: Main accct, 7 yrs old, heavily used PQR for many years, only very very minor use of HB (Tyrael for a few dungeon runs about 2 weeks ago), no botting at all apart from that, but linked to bot acct by battlenet and guilds. - 72hrs
Acct2: 2nd Main acct, 5 yrs old: Botted heavily since I got my 1st HB key a month ago, also had various chars I've used PQR on in the past. RAF with Acct 2 - 72hrs
Acct3: Old multiboxing acct: Status, unknown, need to renew my sub, just expired today by co-incidence.
Acct4: New Wowacct around 5 weeks ago, no PQR, only HB, different Battlenet, an old one I used to play Diablo on, but still registered in my same name. RAF with Acct 4 - 72hrs,
Acct5: New botting acct: Botted the most heavily on, never any PQR, including various Auction House bots..... and the surprise? Not suspended, as yet.....

So the plot thickens, evidence from Acct 1 and 2 makes it look like PQR. But Acct 4 never used PQR. So inconclusive for me so far.

 

If this is only PQR I am going to die lol. Since my 72hr back on Dec 23 I have not touched PQR (even removed the PQI addon) until last night when soloing Al'akir. HB routines I use normally dont work properly on this fight I assume because of the weird and massive hitbox. So I installed and updated PQR + PQI just for that fight :V

 

Hmm.. I wonder if our accounts will be "marked" now if we received a 72 hour suspension, meaning even if it's only PQR and we use HB exclusively we're still screwed.

 

Because people don't KNOW if they were banned because of PQR or because of HB. Some use it simultaneously. We're figuring out that PQR is likely the culprit.

 

PQR got detected and massively banned.

I'm pretty sure there are just about no one that got banned now for JUST probablyengine or honorbuddy. they are all using (or have used in the past few months) PQR as well.

 

Like there isnt ppl which are banned without using pqr yeah right.

 

While you might feel this way, there's nothing written by the mods stating that people are DQ'd from posting a ban report if they use other programs along with HB.

 

Well my raf account i solely used hb on got suspended for 72 hours at the same time i got perma banned on my main, it hasn't been active for around a week.

 

From what I've read, RAF accounts are risky in the first place. I'm guessing your RAF and main accounts were linked, so it might be possible that the RAF was suspended because the main was banned.

 

Maybe, its been active for 2 month and fine, just seems a bit suspect that its suspended at the same time. probably just association tbh, if hb was detected, this forum would be flooded.
