      if there is information you need to know, bossland and an approved member of the staff will post an "official announcement" ether on the front page of the forums @ http://www.thebuddyforum.com/ or in the Announcement Thread. now, it really gives no added benefit to keep making announcements about how the reverse engineering of the patch, and the updating of honorbuddy, on a hour by hour or day by day intervals the reason why the 1 week date was set to allow time for this process to happen, when the date comes, one of two things will occur, 1. a working version of honorbuddy updated for WoW Version 4.0.1, or 2. an official announcement explaining why there is a delay and the next expected ETA for the release. now the best thing you can do is be stay calm and wait. I'm sorry but that's just how it is. Good things take time.

      That is contradictory to the home page post
      , and you have said stuff already mentioned in the post. You call yourself a moderator!

      And i cant even read it without having to go back and try to understand what I have read. Please be more clear.

      what it comes down to is, if there's an update they will post it. end of story. they give notice of 7 days, and you need to give them that.

      Since you're all irking for an update, I'll give you a quick, little update;

      We're almost done updating everything.

      Spells have been completely revamped; so that ate up a bunch of time.

      Items have also been changed quite a bit, and we're in the process of figuring out how everything works now. (Most of the basic stuff is done, stuff like resistances, damage, and armor, etc is still being researched. We may end up leaving it out if it takes too long. Can always add it back in another release)

      Due to the massive changes, and very, very, different compiler options used now, it's a very big pain. What would take us only an hour or two, has been taking us 3-4x as long.

      Don't worry folks, we're almost there!

      Well I am glad to hear, take your time though! I would rather have a nice working release then something that isn't very stable :p
