      Hi, Hyperr,

Yes, when Honorbuddy decides it needs to go sell, it quits executing the profile until that activity is complete.

      cheers,

      Bug Report:

      Faction: Horde
      Zone: Ashenvale
      Quest: Keep the Fires Burning
Goal: Collect blubber from hydras, melt into oil, light a fire.
Problem: Character kills hydras but does not loot them - the profile seems to change the settings so it does not loot (not sure when, may have been on a previous quest?). Also changes the pull distance to 0.

      Hi, Thickchesthair,

If its the same <Objective> bug, then there's nothing we can do about it in the profile--its an HBcore issue. So, posting wrt/that issue is pointless, if you are certain that is the issue.

      cheers,

Quest: [The Spirits of Golakka Hot Springs]

What should happen: Talk to Maximillian of Northshire to follow you, you then go stand by two Streaming Furys and wait for Maximillian to bless them.

What happens: Player kept trying to stand next a Streaming Fury but without Maximillian thus not blessing them, not completing the quest and get in a dying loop.

[EDITED 23-Aug-2013 by chinajade]: Thank you for the report Lilsavalex!
We have code in place to go back and refetch Max if he de-popped, which he does on occasion. Alas, it looks like that defensive code needs to be carried forward further than we did.

@Kick, Need a testbed starting with "The Spirits of Golakka Hot Springs" in Un'goro. Need to carry de-popping Max protection forward a few more quests.

Hi, Botbetterwork, and thanks for the log!

Geez, your Honorbuddy installation is a mess! This really belongs in the Support forum, but we'll get you started with a fix up.

      • You need to delete or update PlayerReportsDectector plugin
        Its got issues:
[02:42:05.952 N] Compiler Error: c:\Users\The One\Desktop\HonorBuddy\Plugins\PlayerReportsDetector\PlayerReportsDetector\Class1.cs(65,50) : error CS1061: 'System.IO.StreamWriter' does not contain a definition for 'WriteLineAsync' and no extension method 'WriteLineAsync' accepting a first argument of type 'System.IO.StreamWriter' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

      • You need to delete or update your Jumpy plugin
Its got serious issues. Lots and lots of stuff like:
        File name: 'C:\Users\The One\Desktop\HonorBuddy\Plugins\Jumpy\Jumpy\gnome.ico'
        at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFrom*****, Boolean useLongPath)

...<half the log is filled with these>...

      • Your Honorbuddy is having trouble communicating with the WoWclient
        [03:12:38.118 D] System.AccessViolationException: Could not read bytes from 000010F8 [299]!
at Styx.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader.ReadBytes(IntPtr address, Int32 count, Boolean isRelative)
        at Styx.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader.Read[T](IntPtr address, Boolean isRelative)
        at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.GetAllAuras()
        at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.GetAuraById(Int32 id)
        at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.HasAura(Int32 id)

        and
[03:12:55.211 D] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
        at Bots.Grind.LevelBot.‚(Object )
        at Styx.TreeSharp.Decorator.CanRun(Object context)
        at Styx.TreeSharp.Decorator..()
        at Styx.TreeSharp.Composite.Tick(Object context)

This can be caused by a lot of things, like the broken plugins (above). Sometimes, a system reboot is required to fix this.
If you've still no joy after cleaning these things up, please follow-up to the Support forum. Treesharp and compiler issues are never a profile problem--its usually a problem with the user's installation.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Log attached.

Says hes going to kill some Lork Klaq or something. Gets stuck hovering above saying moving to hot spot.

I have cleared the cache (each time), deleted HB folder and reinstalled.

This is the second toon to get stuck here. The first would always die by the lvl 72 ogres (toon would be lvl 63/64).

[EDITED 24-Aug-2013 by chinajade]: Thanks for the report and log, Neal121!
I'm going to hold this issue until I can have a chat with another developer about this issue.

In the meantime, just do Safguarding the Watchers manually, turn it in, then start Honorbuddy again.

Quest: [Safeguarding the Watchers] [Saving the Sporeloks]

What should happen: Bot enters the Fuggor Cavern and kills Lord Klaq along with other mobs for [Saving the Sporeloks]

What happens: Flies above the cavern into the mountains.

Notes: HB was interrupted while in the Cavern the first time but when HB was started again it kept flying up into the mountains. When restarting honorbuddy as how you're suppose to when interrupting, it still kept flying into the mountains.

Happened in this log but I have 1 other that's more extensive if needed.

      Hi again, Pedro105,

This has already been answered here (see the article cited), and here. We are not going to answer the same question again.

Simply, if you don't like what the way the profile pack is working for you, find another one to your liking, there are a couple of more to choose from.

      cheers,
      chinajade

Hi, C3018T, and thanks for the log.

It seems like some bad/incomplete changes were made to the profile. We won't be able to repair this until we get a toon back into the area to figure out the appropriate parameters for the behavior.

To get you going again, please compete and turn in The Grimtotem Weapon quest. After turn in, start Honorbuddy again.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, Okleven97,

It sounds like its working as designed then. You may find this article helpful:

Because the profile pack is not doing what you want it to, doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it. If you are dissatisfied, you should find another questing profile pack more to your liking--there are a couple to choose from.

      cheers,

Hi, Obliv, and thanks for the logs.

Your problem is not the same as those reported by the others--that is why we ask for logs. Even with similar symptoms, the root causes are frequently different.

Your issue is one of cache corruption. You can find the remedy for it here:

      cheers,
      chinajade

Hi, Hyperr, and thanks for the log,

Alas, this isn't a profile issue. Let's try clearing the cache one more time, please.

Next thing to try, would be an Honorbuddy 'clean install'. Instructions here:

If those bring no joy, please follow up to the Support forum with a fresh log. This issue is not a problem with Kick's profile pack.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, Facekilla911,

It sounds like your copy of Kick's profile pack needs to be updated. If that brings no joy, you must post your log that captures the problem:

      Hi, Bortskjemt,

We cannot conduct an analysis for issues like this, if you do not attach a full unedited log that captures the problem.

      cheers,

      Chinajade,

After figuring out what the quest actually was, I figured the toon doesnt want to go into the cave and instead just hovers above it or dies by the ogres on the land above it. I dropped him in the lower part of the cave by Klaq and HB downloads and loads A TON of tiles then kinda acts all bot-like. Moves, stops, moves, stops, moves, stops. After killing Klaq manually, same issue with the cave. Definitely an issue with the cave.

      Hi, Virtual,

You will also want to read this article:

If you still need assistance, you must attach the log that captures the issue. This allows us to 'see' what is going wrong.

      Hi, Bortskjemt,

Selling decisions are not made by the profile, but by HBcore. If you are having problems with this, you need to make a post into the Support forum with your log that captures the issue.

Honorbuddy does indeed protect any crafting resources like cloth. It will even mail them to your banker. But again, none of this is handled by the profile. It is up to you to configure Honorbuddy correctly.
      • Honorbuddy -> Settings & Tools
      • Fill in "Mail Recipient
You will also want to read this article if you need further refinements:
