Klovnene's guide to "the insane"

One thing is for sure, you arent gonna get this achievement done in a week or a month, so if your going to post multiple daily updates on your personal progress please start your own thread instead of using this one.

 

Tonight i've raised my bloodsail reputation from 18k hated to honored with one trick : we cannot attack the mob on Faldir's Cove since we have friendly or more reputation with booty bay. So i put my char in a good point to aoe them (just outside the dock) with "_keyspam" then after few hours (when the reputation with bootybay goes down) i was able to use the Faldir's Cove profile and target the pirates and kill them one by one without use aoe spells
(tomorrow night i'll turn back all trinket to darkmoon)

 

You should be able to kill these mobs at any point simply by changing your status with Booty Bay to "at War". This allows you to kill them regardless of your reputation with Booty Bay.

 

Nope malice!!! That's the problem with 4.0.6 u cannot attack "DIRECTLY" mob of reputation friendly or higher and that's the pain in the ass farming bloodsail reputation

 

Damn, glad I got mine before that change...I used the Faldir's Cove from "wouldn't spit on you if I saw you dead in the street" all the way to maxed honored. Very glad I didn't have to do the AOE thing. The bloody acheive is hard enough as it is! Gratz on your solution.

 

Has anyone tried this lockbox profile? I'm down just to ravenhold rep to get my insane title and i'm dreading the idea of farming those boxes by hand on my 85 rogue.

 

No i dont try any profile and i suggest u to farm "manually" the boxes...with the help of some speedhack (use google) and capable bag (200 per day is about 1 week of farming)

 

Hey there, i really love that you have taken time to create this thread, and creating the profiles. I do however not think all of them work that great, for instance the Fray island profile seems to get stuck inside the house a lot, going from the captains spawn to the front lobby, it only does that if the mobs in the front lobby have spawned while you were further inside. It basicly just stands at the top of the stairs and tries to casts spells at the respawned mob, i have in other instances tried that it would do the same thing at the bottom of the stairs, trying to cast spells at the respawned mob at the top. It's usually stuck there trying to cast a spell at something, which is unreachable. On the steamwheedle cartel profile nummer 2, it usually always runs around behind the houses, and it gets stuck there a lot aswell.


To fix these things is there anything i can do myself? like download a plugin or? do you recommend another cc? im a shadow priest btw.

Hey m8, some of this is mostly because of the navigation system in HB .
I am aware of this and i have been trying to figure it out, but nothing ive done has fixed it yet

Anyone have an update in the AoE thing? I need to raise my Bloodsail rep from Hated, but friendly+ with Booty Bay. Is the AoE thing still the only way, without a party of ilvl 365+ to kill guards in Booty Bay?

 

can you still get this? i thought blizz took this title and achievement away because they got rid of one of the factions u needed to get rep with

 

no you can still get it, they have however made it easier, when they removed one of the factions. If you did this before the nerf, you will get a FoS at some point.

 

Just a question: what CC is preferable to pickpocketing? Searched for it for two hours and nothing.

It is active, i just got it a month maybe 2 ago
