List of working Instancebuddy Instances (UPDATED!) - A Community Driven Project

Probably the best way to start working on fixing this instance bot, is first of all, fully fix one dungeon every 5 or 6 levels, to allow a full instancebuddy levelling possible, with no gaps.

If ramparts is fully fixed for all specs, probably next to work on would be some of the coilfang reservoir ones (underbog for max XP)... to work as a bridge while levelling to one of the auchindon ones, that would be enough till Utgarde Keep or nexus, that can be played until violet hold or DTK.

Then fixing blackrock caverns, that could be done a lot until a funcional cata dung is coded

 

Another good implentation would be the possibility of pre-select the dungeons it will do (before they are available)... As we currently have to keep babysit the bot to avoid levelling and auto-selecting bad dungeons...

So far my suggestions are:

1. Fix a dungeon for every 5-6 levels
2. Make we able to select which dungeons will be done even before the botted char has reached the elegibility level to make the dungeon.
3. Focus fixing on healing classes which will be the most benefited of a working instancebuddy, as taking is somehow more complicated, and DPS queues are a bit too long to make it worth levelling "only dungeon".

b)What bot does or does not do?: At second boss (the captain), the bot won't avoid the shadowflames (breath). That is not a BIG issue. Problem is just after the alchemist boss (red light, green light), the bot get totally lost, can't find the way to where people are. Can't reach last boss then.
c)Consequence (death? stuck? Wipe? Kick?): If healing, would probably be kicked. Meelee may also die at second boss (captain) breath.
d)Suggested solution: Walk away from shadow breath, fix pathing issues from the alchemist boss to the last boss.

b)What bot does or does not do?: The bot doesn't do it's corpse run. It shows in the log that it is executing it, but it doesn't actually initiate the run.

PHP:

c)Consequence (death? stuck? Wipe? Kick?): Stuck and requires user intervention (Manual corpse run, or restarting bot). Players will eventually expel you and the bot will remain inactive, causing you to D/C from game.
d)Suggested solution: Fix corpse run pathing issues.

 

I also suggest that the bot be able to select more dungeons as well, specifically regular + heroic dungeons of different content. (Example: Selecting regular WOTLK dungeons + TBC Heroics) Unless that feature is already implemented and I just have to select the dungeons for each category. (Didn't seem to work)

I have problem i want to farm ramparts all the time but when i finish 1st run bot goes back to the teleport and he stops. My question is:

why bot stops before go out?
why bot doesn't restart the instance?

 

I would like to farm an instance for rep to fully do it exit and recet the instance.
Is this possible with only instancebuddy or do i need some plugin and such?
Tried an "old" recet plugin but it doesnt seem to work and instance buddy only seems to compelete the run and just stands there after last boss. So i manually need to go out and recet and restart instancebuddy.
Anyone that give me some info would be very appreciated. thx in advance.

Will InstanceBuddy even be receiving an update? Just wondering as would be nice to farm the Cataclysm dungeons.
This project just seems dead in that water at the moment, that's all.

not risky nowadays. Bots now are very human-like and can seldom be identified as bots...

b)What bot does or does not do?: Sometimes the bot will get LOS and not heal the tank (HEAL). Bot paths instance slowly.
c)Consequence (death? stuck? Wipe? Kick?): If you are a healer, you may wipe. Otherwise you will be behind the group most of the time (Slow pathing issues).
d)Suggested solution: Not sure how to improve pathing speed.

BTW: Culling of Stratholme may look 'bottish'. I was accused of being a botter (Healer Priest using Protpally's CC).
ALSO! Halls of Stone pathing (Corpse Run), is FIXED - HOWEVER, it stops just short of the instance portal zone. The hotspot needs to be moved deeper a little more.
