(I waited 28 minutes for a 5 minute call.) just get rdy your, email , first and last name, sq a, vanilla cd-key , full address. Trying to get unlock 1 more tommorow. I was surprised to hear Blizzard's operator. I'm a better English speaker than him, and I remember last time I called them (about 1 year ago) that person had a perfect english. Is there a way to unlock an account with all the info except the vanilla cd-key?
why are all jumping with comments like that, I just said I got 1 acc unlocked (out of those 3 locked accs). THE EMAILS ARE REAL
why is the email asking you for the secret awnser and password etc blizzard wouldnt ask that Account Name: The account name you are using to login. CD Key: original WoW game CD-key (we cannot accept Expansion CD keys). Your Secret Question and Answer. Name: the full name that the account was created with. Address: The address information given when the account was created. Zip/Postal Code: The zip/postal code that was given when the account was created. they never ask that
Sorry for going off-topic, but someone asked a question so /shrug [Guide] How to call Blizzard - Forums - World of Warcraft Enjoy, it's got all the necessary phone numbers from Account & Payment to Techincal Support.
The email is fake. It could be coincedence that an account was locked at or near the same time, but Blizzard WILL NEVER ask for all that information in a webform. At least not in the US.
yea coincidence that 3 accounts get locked and on all 3 I get that email (private email , nobody else knows them except blizz. ) if you check the message they are saying to go on wow-.... their REAL SITE (not a phising site or something )and submit a webform. IS at real as it could be. got 1 more unlocked via webform. 1 to go via phone... maybe tommorow/
I can't see why Blizzard would want you to send them the question and the answer. This looks wrong. Was the account you submitted the details by webform for unlocked and was all its gear intact ?
yes, all my toons were intact on both accounts . no gold missing. its real, I unlocked 1 via webform and 1 via skype. i posted the detailes they asked for both webform and phone, and their identical : name, adress, sq a, cd-key. Wasn't a phising email with reply at this email address or click this link (and when you hover the mouse around that link in the bottom left appears another link . I get plenty of those email but none on my emails registered only to wow accounts)
now I must unlock one of those 3 (got 2 unlocked easy so for this one should be easy as well . but I have another one locked a few months back and I plan on getting it back . This is what you get for using fictive name on the account and you can't supply an ID. - Your Battle.net account name - Full name registered on the account - Full home address, registered on the account, including postal or zip code - A legible scan or photo of a piece of government-issued photo identification, such as a passport or driving license - A legible scan or photo of a physical utility bill (electricity or phone bill) which contains your name and the address in the country of residence (Please note that online statements or online utility bills are not acceptable) Please also provide us with the correct and up-to-date details to be registered on the account. Please remember to include the ID as an attachment and not as an image pasted into the main body of the email.
this is getting weirder and weirder . in 1 week 1 account 72 h suspended doing pl. 3 accounts locked until I send them the data, and now 1 banned after selling yesterday 100k and today 100k to a chinise buyer with guild withdrawal. Is blizz targeting me ?? Is there a way to get the banned acc back? They didn't give me any warnings on that account. no final warning, nothing> just the ban hammer. If I will tell them that my acc got hacked will my other accounts on that pc/network will be at risk? **Notice of Account Closure*** Account Name: abcdxxxxx Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy. Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: World of Warcraft Europe -> Info -> Gold Selling: Effects and Consequences The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Any recurring subscriptions on this account have been suspended to prevent further monetary charges. For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: Blizzard Support Regards, Customer Services Blizzard Entertainment Europe World of Warcraft
They actually ask for details like that when you ask them to do a special service to your account (like downgrade an account, fusionning two non-same b-net acc together). You should really use a special account for selling your gold.

Greetings, ============================================================================================================================ Your account was temporarily suspended and, due to the severity of the incident, issued a final warning for use of prohibited Third Party Software, which is in violation of our Exploitation Policy Blizzard Support . This policy constitutes part of the Terms of Use (World of Warcraft Europe -> Legal Documents -> Terms of Use) which you agreed to upon the creation of your account and, as such, must be adhered to. This account has been found to have employed third party software designed to automate many aspects of the World of Warcraft game play experience. Such software runs contrary to the essence of World of Warcraft and provides an advantage over other players. In addition, use of this software can lead to exploitation and destabilisation of the World of Warcraft server economy. To protect the integrity of our investigation process and methods, we are unable to disclose information relating to our investigation techniques and are unable to make exceptions to this policy. This includes, but is not limited to, the names of prohibited programs found to have been used. Every decision taken upon an account relies upon solid evidence and is treated very carefully by several representatives in our department, in order to ensure due process. Please review the World of Warcraft Terms of Use at World of Warcraft Europe -> Legal Documents -> Terms of Use , which you accepted when you installed World of Warcraft and established the account(s). Section 3, Paragraph C details the limitations of the use of the game, specifically mentioning the use of any power levelling service and the purchase or sale of in-game items, money and characters for "real" money as well as the use of third party programs. In addition, other sections of the Terms of Use may apply to the closure of your account, such as wilfully sharing your account details. Account access is the responsibility of the account owner and account sharing is against our Terms of Use. Therefore, should you believe someone other than yourself (the account owner) has committed this violation of the Terms of Use with your account, these sanctions would still apply, as our action is taken against the account, not the individual. Section 4 of our Terms of Use describes the Code of Conduct which governs the World of Warcraft, and advises that Blizzard Entertainment reserve the right to determine conduct that it considers to be outside the spirit of the game and to take such disciplinary measures as it sees fit, up to and including termination and deletion of the Account. No refunds will be given for unused playtime on accounts which are suspended for violations of the Terms of Use, as per section 16. B of our Terms of Use. We strongly recommend that you review our current Rules and Policies as any further violations committed by your account will most likely result in the permanent closure of your account. Our Rules and Policies can be found at: Blizzard Support Regards, Yours sincerely ============================================================================================================================ and for the second accounts. (recently bought , botted 3 days on it) 3 emails : .1 Category of Violation: Third Party Program Account Action: Warning Greetings, We are writing to inform you that due to your behaviour we have, unfortunately, had to add a warning to your World of Warcraft account. It is with regret that we take this type of action; however, it is in the best interests of the World of Warcraft community as a whole and for the integrity of the game. Please note that should any further violations of our rules and policies occur, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account. This could include further warnings, account suspension or account termination. If you have any further enquiries regarding your account status, please send them to: WoWConcernsEU@blizzard.com. ============================================================================================================================ mail 2: Greetings, We are writing to inform you that, after a careful investigation of your account closure, we have agreed to remove the permanent suspension of your account from the World of Warcraft servers. This change has already been put into effect, and your account should again be available for play. Please be aware that the removal of this suspension is not to be taken lightly and should further issues arise with regards to your account in the future, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account. Should you have other questions or concerns, feel free to contact us again, via our webform: https://eu.blizzard.com/support/webform.xml ============================================================================================================================ mail 3: The investigation of the unauthorised access to your account has been completed. We have checked your characters and found no item or gold loss. If you think that something is missing however, please send a new petition with the characters affected and, if possible, the name of the items that were lost or the amount of money missing. If you have previously received e-mails from our Account Security department requesting verification in order for us to reactivate your account, you should respond directly to those e-mails with the requested information. We have reason to believe that your account may have been compromised using a Key Logger or Trojan virus and we suggest that you follow this checklist on how to secure your account: Account Security - Battle.net Please note that Key Loggers and Trojan viruses send information about your passwords to other people and should be considered a serious threat to the integrity of your system. These details are not limited to World of Warcraft; keyloggers routinely steal online banking information where possible and any other personal details they can find. If steps are not taken to remove any possible programs from your computer, it is highly probable that your account will become compromised once more. . ============================================================= I will stop botting on all my accs for a while. But do you think its safe if I will still sell stuff via Ah? is there a way to get my first account"s final warning removed? (recently bought toon as well, 2 weeks ago) the weird thing : I had in the place of the second account (posted above ) another account running for 2 months 24/7 mostly (same profile, same proffesion, same realm , same faction) . and now when he expired I activated another account on that realm (account 2 from above) and this one in only 3 days of farming got banned. There were no connection between them. bought from different users, different guilds, different farmers/ sellers. etc ; Do you think its just bad luck or more, I tend to think its the second
again 3 accounts locked. 2 locked for the first time and 1 locked for the 3rd time. (guess is ban time for that one ) . Same email as always. Greetings, Please read this mail carefully, as we would like to see your issue addressed as fast as possible. An investigation of the World of Warcraft account Blizzsucksbigtime has produced evidence that the account has been accessed by someone who is not allowed to use it. We have therefore temporarily suspended all access to the account to prevent further abuse. In order to resolve the investigation, please contact us with the following information via the webform: Account Name: The account name you are using to login. CD Key: original WoW game CD-key (we cannot accept Expansion CD keys). Your Secret Question and Answer. Name: the full name that the account was created with. Address: The address information given when the account was created. Zip/Postal Code: The zip/postal code that was given when the account was created. The CD key must be from the World of Warcraft box you used when you registered your account. If you have more than one copy of the game, and are unsure which key is the correct one, please include them all. There is no need to include the keys marked "Trial Edition". Expansion CD key is not accepted. Any ideas what could've trigged this?
You were scammed. I doesn't matter if that email address "used" to send the email or where it was from is real or not, do not go anywhere an enter in any kind of details at all. You were phished. They're able to do what is called a spoof of an email address. They can actually make it seem like it was from any address they want, they just enter which address they want to use. That's it. You were then probably redirected to some site and it asked you to login, seemed genuine probably looked identical to what you would think if not what battle.net/world of warcrafts site looks like but it's not them. You can probably notice too that it might say it's using Battle.net or something in text, but if you mouse over, or if it's an html email which is probably is the source will tell you it is actually forwarding to another address if not IP. Or after you have clicked the link you're forwarded to another site. I would actually not have clicked it at all. They have ways of injecting code into your system by several methods and you run there virus and you're infected. Simple as that. You won't even know it until its to late, if you ever find out at all. Blizzard or any other company that is a genuine company will never ask you for information like this at all, no matter how convincing it may sound. Whether it be Paypal, WOW, or anything... THey will not ask for your password, email address, login, cd key, etc. You were scammed/phished. Which was probably a spear phish, or whatever they call it. Either you bought gold from some chinese or the private buyer did it. I've heard of several people that have sent in reports of getting whispers saying that blizzard noticed some kinda activity on your account and if you don't want anything to happen that you would need to do this or that. I'm also pretty sure that the site you visited, although it might ahve said it was disabled wasn't really blizzard at all. They probably added some type of graphics or design that looks identical to what battle.net or blizzard would output and put it that way so you would enter the information they wanted. You need to just remember that these companies, any company will not ever ask you for this information or to submit it at any time. EVER!~
