[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

Millz` profiles run without lag for me. They're pretty much the best out there. If only he made some for the melee I play ;P

Just got done with some H HFC. Average frame rate was 80.

 

Hi Millz

Ive been using this for a few days an dit sgreat, although only one problem. With all profiles, no matter what i use, I have an issue where my character just keeps running and running and not stopping. It targets a mob, casts at it, then runs past it dragging all mobs with it. It doesnt stop until it hits a wall, dies, or I intercept it. It happens on average every minute or so, meaning I cannot bot AFK.

Any ideas?

Edit: Hard to know where it appears in the log, but i waited for it to happen again and then killed HB so it shoudl be the very last thing in the log.

 

I thought it was me! I've had this before the banwave in May (I do not have a Lock and Mage anymore), but when running towards a mob (because out of range), it sometimes ran right through them and never stopped. I had to stop running manually and then all was fine. I had this with Millz lock AND mage routine, so it's probably something in the movement/targetting code? Sorry for the semi-hijack and I have no logs... this occured months ago and have not used this CR since.

 

Just to confirm, Ive been using Singular for the last few hours and the issue doesn't occur

 

Oh my god. I had this issue for months in BGFarmer and it took me ages to figure out how to fix it, didn't realise the CR's suffered from it. I'm pushing a new Portal build today, I'll put BGFarmer's 'stop' code in which should fix this.

 

Excellent! For me it was the only reason not to use these CR's while questing... it ran through mobs and essentially face pulled them or just kept running until it hit a wall or ran out of combat

hi. i buy the CR yesterday and i have a question. what are the best settings for PVP? for mage frost.

 

Hey

There's no "best settings" - try loading the default PvP file to get you started, then configure the hotkeys to suit yourself, and enable/disable the settings you don't want the routine to handle.

You need to configure it yourself so you know what to expect from the routine. Default settings are enough to get you started though.

I have a slight issure with the Config Screen. Was wondering if it has anything to do with windows 10 it was fine and working great before i upgraded but now its hard for me to change the setting. the words wrap over the boxes

 

Just a small request. You CR doesn't target Prysmatic Crystal when using with Dungeonbuddy. Works fine with Enyo.

Hey - Dungeonbuddy controls the targeting when you're using it with that bot base. The CR doesn't handle any targeting with Dungeonbuddy.

Nice changes. My mage is my alt so I wouldn't have even thought about having more control over that burn phase (don't have to worry about min maxing THAT hard). Good work!

 

Millz is the man and by far the best coder you will see around here. If you've considered buying Portal but haven't quite decided, I would recommended it 100%. Not only is the CR top notch, the customer service is beyond comparison!

Appreciate the changes man, this will be huge for us Arcane mages. Now for those Frost updates..

 

Would just like to say that your routine is probably the sole reason I am looking to make my mage my main. It's just beautiful to use compared to all other routines. It's like artificial intelligence or something.

I would KILL for you to create routines for the other casters and hunter. Man if you could make Elemental, Boomkin, SPriest and Hunter routines I would throw my wallet at you so quick.
Other coders should really learn from you.

If I ever win the lotto I swear to god I am sending you a percentage of the winning purely because you can tell how much effort you put into this and I appreciate that.

@CreamCheese - I do have a S-Priest routine (Insanity). None of the others though. CR's take massive amounts of work - and without knowing the classes well I'd never be able to create a good routine. I only really play warlocks, mages, and shadow priests. Stick to what you know and all that....

i have a problem with the rotation , i have tested changing the bot to singular and this doesnt happened, when i start my bot in any honorbuddy botbase it casts many times (spaming) polimorfph without any target and it ignores the instructions of the grind profiles, e.g. the honorbuddy chatlog says it is using polimorph's hotkey , but in fact i do not have any hotkey asigned, i tried asinging one to experiment but the bot stoped trying casting that and instead tried to spam ring of ice
y try unistalling honorbuddy but didnt work
