Magitek - All In One - Still going strong!

That is correct, I am using Ex,... normal CombatAssist doesnt seem to work.. it's not summoning Eos, nor it casts Protect ?

 

Ex causes lag for reasons that are beyond my understanding.

I use Magitek WHM for experts and I use the normal Combat Assist.

Things I've noticed you have to put your self in combat and have a target at all times either be a enemy or player for the CR to function.

Okay, I just gave it a try - Lag is nearly crashing my game - even shows 'dc icon' on my toon!

 

Had a quick question, I recently downloaded magitek and the item.cs fix and such....and for some reason i can never get the magitek to pop up at all, my ultima comes up fine and my kupo, but never magitek...anyone know the reason for this? It is in my routines folder and i could not really find a comprehensive install guide in case this kinda stuff happens...thanks!

Did a full reinstall, the only thing I did not try...working as intended now

You need to get the items.cs file in this thread for the fix. Place it in your magitek folder, restart rebornbuddy and it should work.

 

Do you have the latest version?2015？

 

There is no such thing 9540321. It's a very outdated but still working CR. Currently there's no active developer behind this CR.

 

I don't understand why,but i installed via svn and under profile when i started rb i don't have anyting called magitek...

Any Idea?

Did you get the fixed files in this thread to get it to run, do you have a log that we can look at, and have you doubled checked to make sure all of your files are set up correctly? Even with setting up things through SVN, sometimes it does not put them in the proper places. Good idea to double check.

1 Page back, and several more times throughout the thread.

 

I think the name of the thread should be changed, because, realistically, it's not going strong, it's barely alive, and we have other routines that are working and are being maintained.
-shrug- I wouldn't bother using magitek now, it was quite good in the past, but without official maintenance, why not just hop over to one of the CR's that do have the community support/maintenance?
ATM I primarily use Ultima, which has issues occasionally, there's plenty to pick from, and at the end of the day Kupo isn't as shabby as it once was.

is there any specific settings i need to use to get this to heal? For some reason no matter what i do it wants to attack on my conjurer in dungeons instead of heal the party. Kupo works fine. However this wont heal. It thinks its dps.

 

Just follow the guide on the first page to set up and to heal you have to use the 'Ex COombat Assist'. Hope this helps

Does anyone know of a way to make your character move towards the target they need to heal if they are out of range?

 

Unfortunately i did use the guide and used ex combat assistant. Tank died because i couldnt cancel it attacking fast enough so i had to close rb and reopen it with kupo in the middle of a dungeon -_- i was still a cnj though. Maybe with the actual white mage class itll be different?

 

Go to combat/class settings and turn off the checkbox 'do dps'.

The NEW items.cs that you need is located at:

I downloaded the NEW items.cs file and put it in the Magitek\Helpers folder overwriting the old one
and restarted the bot and it is working.
