If you disable the level 30 talent in the configuration, it will not interrupt for you. I believe the issue with Tortos is HB and not routine related, the same problem happens with BM and SV of this routine as well as falldown's old routine The Beast Master. I've not been able to reproduce an issue with this routine casting Black Arrow on bosses, as I keep all traps disabled. However it does not cast BA on training dummies, non elites or trash. This may be by design, to fave Exp Trap over BA on targets where the dot will not tick full duration. I expect to be past Tortos tonight, so I will report back with more information then. First the first 3 bosses, the SV profile did perform quite well.
on Megaera it doesnt seem to attack red head and after read head (killing green, red, green red etc) it doesnt really attack any of heads. is this HB or this routine?
not sure but i get the same problem.. sent in a ticket to HB and they said it was a CR problem even tho it does it with all my hunter CRs
Played with the routine as SV on the lone dummy in Org. It seems on single target whether it uses black arrow or explosive trap is focus dependent. If you have the focus it will cast black arrow. If not it uses the trap. As someone else mentioned you can turn traps completely off and it won't cast the trap at all. I did notice the routine doesn't deal particularly well with ToTH. Seems like Dire Beast is the way to go for it.
Not sure what to say. It is consistently using black arrow on the single target dummy for me with traps turned off. May be different in raid though. I am going to use it in ToT tonight so I guess I will see. It seems like the routine does still need a little work though. Doesn't use explosive shot on cooldown as well as I think it should. Sometimes I get capped on focus which is never good.
This Routine and The Beast Master are still failing to attack on tortos and megaera. Other bosses are working fine. It looks like changes to Tuanha allowed it to work with these bosses, so I'm still not quite sure what needed to be changed for Mark/TBM.
I'm back to work on this for two days. I already found and fixed a few PvP related issues, and I'll start working on survival next. Thanks to the feedback I can actually work on something because I don't have time to test all of this by myself so I don't know if something is working or not. Edit: 1.6.4 is up in the DEV SVN. - Fixed Survival not working if Force PvP was set true on BM. - Removed distance check from Kill Command in PvE (Hopefully this will make the CR attack bosses that are so big their hitbox is technically over 25yd away but Kill Command can still hit them) - Fixed your DPS and time till death on current target not being checked properly. (Should use Black Arrow and Lynx Rush on targets that are going to be alive for more than 15 seconds as well now, instead of just dummies/bosses.) Also what comes to priority of BA vs Explosive Trap, there really isn't one. Traps aren't all that well configured yet, especially for SV but it should use BA in single target occasions and EXP trap in AoE.
Version 1.7.0 coming soon. - Adds Line of Sight and Line of Spell Sight checks to pet attacks (Kill Command, Blink Strike, Lynx Rush) - Simplified Arcane Shot (Instead of 4 seperate casts there's only one now) These changes should help the CR run more smoothly when you can't execute pet attacks.
hi I tried it a lot of times I can't stop it from from using trap on 1 target I don't know where the problem .. even with false on traps keep sending exp trap.
Played with it some more including a ToT raid. Like others have said it does use explosive trap on single targets sometimes even with traps completely turned off. I never saw it do it when I last posted but I did notice it this time.
2 small things the routine is not doing any more - it wont use ice trap in BM spec, and wont use concussive shot in either sv or bm.. EDIT:Concussive shot seems to be working on normal mobs, just not on training dummy, but still no ice trap in BM
were you using 1.7.0? Also new update coming soon. - Fixes SV traps using BM settings. - Adds option to disable AoE exp trap in AoE rotation. - Removes Line of Sight checks in PvE rotation. (Only used in PvP now) - Increases time required in Time till death for some spells (Black arrow and such)
1.7.1 is up in the SVN, adding it as a .zip as well. Please test if Tortos or Megaera work now. If not I might have to add an exception list of bosses to my spell cast method so it doesnt check max range for them.
New version is working a lot better with megaera, it is using kill command about 80-90% of the time, i have to use it manually at certain points.. EDIT: It seems to be prioritising arcane shot over kill command, this might be why it seems like it is not casting kill command always when its up
SO I finally tested this out. Unfortunately for me it lags way to much in both raid bot and lazyraider. Ill stick with your old project from awhile longer fallout, minus it not trapping people of the same faction it is still the best hunter cr.
