EU buying demand is pretty high right now, but that might be just from the the low price.

you people seem to overestimate the price for electricity. Average computer 300W, average time botting 12h, average price $.10 Kw/Hr. Roughly 11 bucks a month, so max of 22 dollars to run a computer 24/7/30. Secondly, you guys are expecting to make big money where most people don't. Selling gold is not a legitimate job, so don't try to make it out to be. Its just spending money, for dates n shit. Additionally however low your mats are on the market does not necessarilly mean they sell faster. Its all just a matter of being the lowest, by a copper, w/e. Also anyone consistently putting up 40 stacks of elementium for 10g each is gonna get reported by any most other gold sellers. Lastly, the world does not owe you money because you bot. You act like prices should be amazing and you should be living in a mansion off of wow gold. No there is something called work, have fun doing it.

 

Electricity is also dependant on country, where you live, also just because it's not "legitimate job" doesn't mean shit, I'm not on about how legitimate it is, in the slightest, so for starters what does that have to do with this thread? nothing, I'm not expecting to make big money, I know how much I can make, I was trying to have a genuine discussion on the prices of gold.

I'm also a student and do this aswell, so don't talk about jobs or living in a mansion, perhaps you're in the wrong thread here, seems 3/4 of your post isn't really relevant to what I'm saying.

people just put a shit load of mats on the ah which makes prices drop and drop. I put very little on the AH and sell most to private buyers. I currently have about 500 stacks of different cataclysm herbs which will be sold to mostly private buyers.

I find this very intresting, just got into gold selling aswell . Never sold before cata. And I'm currently only on one server, waiting to expand but gold price keeps dropping so.

I'm just waiting for some new mounts and epic gems. Something for people to spend their money on. Like someone else mentioned people got nothing to spend money on. I for myself used to buy gold back in vanilla etc cus I needed some boe shit, mounts etc. I mean the flying mount @ 70 was actually kinda HARD to get for normal players. But while lvling up now you get tons of gold from quest. 5k for the 280% is nothing today. And if you're smart you pick up a gathering proffesion along the way and BOOM you don't need any cash.

I'm stating the obvious here but anyways.. It's not all about the undercutters, ofc they play their part - no doubt. But with the cap being 85 and all now, new players got to much gold and "normal" players don't got anything to spend it on. While the undercutters are making it easy for those who actually need something.

I never post anything on the Ah no more. I just bulk up and sell to my private buyers. And buy the undercutted shit and then sell to them aswell.

Hang in there! Or start lvling a US char !

But I'm thinking of starting to buy accounts and resell em. I can easily get a account for less the money all the expansions etc cost. Then just make some gold and some pvp gear, resell it for twice the amount.
