Well seems to be there'd be more skill to winning tic tac toe, and that'd be cheaper than some of the prices some people claimed to have paid to CRs.

actually if you do some searches you'll find about close to 5000 complaints about bots in PvP to about 1500 for PvE, and those PvE ones are mainly pointed at automation.. bots in dungeonfinder 100% AFK, LFR AFK etc... most people would have no clue you're using a rotation bot and i know for myself, i still raided and performed as good as the bot when HB was down on occasions.

At the end of the day it's the decision of bossland to do what he thinks is in his best interest and it's been stated no amount of threads or complaining is going to change it. so everyone just decide for yourself whats the best option for you moving forward and do it. no point whining on forums

You may not have "officially supported" arena botting, but you sure as hell didnt mind the extra 100k+ People buying keys from you to do it, i have spent Close to 160 euros now on pvp routines which is useless in pve, i don't expect to get my Money back, but this sucks. I always expected bans by using arena profiles, but never ever did i think that HB would disable it completely, and the community won't get a say in it. Slumpeeps.

Then why did they allow them on the buddystore in the first place?

In one case you get advantage over real people and in other case you get advantage over game content there is a big difference.

gaining an advantage over game content is an advantage over other people.

Swimming in money doesn't really piss off people as much as steamrolling them in arena.

They have NEVER supported arena play. You took a risk and you lost. It's that simple.

The Buddy Store was a place where developers can sell THEIR OWN PROJECTS that ran on HONORBUDDY'S api.

Developing an API, maintaining a store platform, hosting plugins on a server, developing a custom streaming service, creating a security system that prevents piracy, reviewing plugins for malicious code, maintaining communication with developers.
All of these things cost money. I'm impressed with how short sighted you lot are. It baffles me.

Aye, but then they know about it, they indirectly and directly supports it! there is no denying it, only now that they got hit by a shitstorm it's easier to say they don't support it, how else would they be able to remove the function of it, without causing a Complete collapse, everyone would demand their Money back, so now it's more convinient to "noo we don't support, we were just blissfully aware on all the sales Revenue we got"

I don't care that you guys got Money from sales and stuff, im just pissed you guys throw the pvpers under the bus without a fight... blizzard won't throw the banhammer around too often, and we do it on Our own risk... atleast release a beta Version for pvp, that is excluded from the other Version = they probably won't main target the biggest userbase.

I love pvping in this game, and the 6 month ban took me hard, i have been waiting patiently for HB to come up again, so i can start making a new main for the next 6 months (lost my left hand, so can't play without) but now i think the road has come to an end for me... and there is few games that i can enjoy anymore as if i had two hands without fully cheating. The pvp rotations required skill and practice to even get above 1800...

So i Guess my 8 years of wow has finally come to an end. Thanks for the good times HB </3

      Your not owed squat !!

Your brought a CR that was using a loophole..

I praise the dev team for shutting down arena all together- Next stop block BGs too..

PVP should be removed from HB all together...

But on topic you went a brought a product for HB that wasn't supported.... How exactly do you think you should get your money back ?

Sure it is a complex situation. But they had to do something to lower their profile. I understand everyone is salty about spending money on something that is basically useless now, that would piss off anyone. But I don't think grabbing the pitchforks and demanding refunds is in order, we should all be aware that what we are doing is subject to the whims of blizzard and thus spending any money on it inherently holds risks. I don't see anyone asking their sub fee money back to blizz for all the months they played without being banned. Instead of acting like entitled consumers crying because someone took your toy we should all stick together and start acting like a community to overcome this hurdle together.

Every item sold in the store is subject to review, if it is in there it was checked and approved.

Mate, if i had bought a "5 year" sub on blizzard for alot of Money, and they decide to ban me, then i would demand the remaining of my sub to be refunded atleast, and as far as i can see from the stories told by People, they are actually getting their Money back, those who long subbed, so tell me how irrelevant it is to demand that Money back please..

AND i would og togheter as a community and handle this, i could handle downtimes for a month, i could handle them, having a "only pve" for a while, when they fixed a new system for arena bots, but what i can't Accept as readily as you is that it will cease to exist.

I even ragebotted on a newly purchased wow account, and got my Money back when i got banned.
