Although Twilight/Uldum will give you the herbs that yield more Embers per mill, you'll get way less herbs per time then in the low level areas. I get 3 to 4 times as many herbs in Hyjal then I get in Twilight, making Hyjal herbing a lot more interesting. There's no one there so no one to see you botting, no one to ninja your herbs. Same goes for Vash'Jir of course with the added bonus of using the druid aquatic form (which has the same speed as the seahorse).
Uldum is NO LONGER a good source of money, due the TONS of bots being there. Whiptail is down to 40g/stack and the darkmooncards are closing under 10k...
Personally I'd recommend moving your bot around. Nothing more bot like than seeing the same toon everyday when you logon and /who a zone. Currently on my server there's a lvl 60 that is always in Terrokarr forest and keeps listing too many herbs at a time on the AH killing prices. If he would farm multiple zones he wouldn't have so many stacks of terrocones that he needs to get rid of but instead would have a variety of things to sell. Anyway, that's my thoughts on the subject. Safer for you and better for all botters
And I would recomend having a bank alt that names weren't same as farmer toon. If working AH with same toon u GB with, I think would be trouble. Agree with moving around. My account I bot on I have 2 85's. Roate them on use, and which zone they do. Yes I may make more if farm just this zone or that zone. But to me keep it random. On my server hardly anyone farms outlands anymore. So I know a days worth of botting will sell fast. But they are also half price of cata herbs. So do day in uldum, day in mt hyjal, day in twilight, day outlands. So on. Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk
Yes, I get the most out of Vash as well. But...it could just be that I've never seen another person there also. Basically just farm whatever I don't have a hundred stacks of.
Okay, this is all server-dependent. If you take out the other persons farming, basically if you were alone in each zone, Twilight Highlands > Ulduum > Hyjal == Vashj'ir
in my opinion vashj?ir but i guess it?s because i am mostly the only one who is farmin or even questing in this area ... on my server thousend of ppl gather at twilight highlands round the clock ... and in vashj?ir is sometimes another one ... but i dunno if it is very suspicios if i am always the only one who gathers there
When I was botting I was going solely in uldum and there was very little competition for the herbs (high pop server too oddly enough). Ore on the other hand is a nightmare. I should note that the only other zone I tried was mount hyjal and it wasnt as profitable or efficient. Of course it could just come down to the profiles.
I got 3 full bags of Whiptail in less than 4 hours in Uldum, using a "Whiptail only"-profile. In Vash'jir I get around 3 bags if I bot all night (Around 8 hours), so for me, Uldum beats everything else. Edit: The 4 hours in Uldum also gave me 550 Volatile Life's, which are currently selling for 14g each on my server
Twilight Highlands will get you the most herbs there are thousands of twilight jasmine and a decent ammount of cinderbloom. but the most effecient i think is vashj'ir because of the crazy 450% mount speed and the tons of Azshara veil that sells for a ton
Well honestly.. it depends on your herb of choice (reason for herb'n) TH is so overly raped for its resources.. your never going to be able to take full advantage of it unless you are lucky enough to get a time slot that very very few people are there.. and even then.. it seems to be the place most people are in when they get snagged. So if you go there be careful.. Deepholm, fairly plentiful herbs (Heart Blossom, Cinderbloom).. but sometimes overly raped for its resources also... The Mountain... Cinderbloom is the choice there.. and on an avg day you'll do good (great for card/glyph makers) Vash.... well underwater fast mount amkes it very nice.. but profiles are very short in supply, and reliable ones are even shorter.. so make sure to make your own for this place, do it carefuly and cautiously...
Some guy on my server posted over 200 stacks of azhara veil last night.. /facepalm... i'm sure he was using one of the vashir profiles. On my server, twilight highlands is way overfarmed, hard to get a lot of stacks of herbs there.
I'm having serious trouble getting practically ANY Twilight Jasmine, it must be over farmed like crazy. I can get full bags anywhere else, especially Udum, but I'm lucky to get 10 stacks overnight in TH. IS it just over-farmed on my server? OR should I use a different profile? I've got two GB Tony profiles and another HB one, all get me hardly any.
I use 5 different Twilight Jasmine profiles and it takes me about 14 hours for full bags. It's just massively over farmed.
Yea that's over farming issues there. Because literally I look at my gatherer addon and there are thousands of jasmines everywhere lol
vash jir since the Azshara veils sell for 60G a stack on my server which is almost triple of anythng else plus u get some obsidium ores in there..
