[Mr.AutoFight] Paladin Assistant 0.1 Alpha (only Prot spec)

About tanking rotation - bot uses 96969 rotation, and really does this good.

 

Is the tank profile supposed to apply combat buffs all the time ?

 

It watches for seal, blessing and plea, and reapplies them.

 

Ok thanks, never watched a tank buff before, just seams to do it a lot, like the beginning of the attack of every mob, even when the blessings/seals aren't out.

You have to run to the mobs manually

 

Maybe it's Divine Plea and some Procs?

This works pretty amazingly for ret for me. I did update the rotation a bit to move divine storm above strike with 2pc t10 and added plea. One thing I was curious about was if it's possible to make it assist the tank and attack their target, especially in situations where your current target dies or things like that. If nothing else have it find the closest target if still in combat when your target dies?

Also, any chance of a similar project with druid bear/kitty?

I have a macro bound to my number 2 button that always attacks what the tank is attacking, I just bash that

I would like to see a drop down button to change the rotation if possible, I have 2 different level geared pallies and they need to fight differently, would be nice to pick a rotation

 

Thanks I may have to try that out. Either way it's a great way to be a lazy raider for trash/content farming and such. Doesn't do quite as much damage as by hand but it saves me some carpal tunnel.

Seems like a silly idea in general. If I was having to move my character around a dungeon why would I not just play it?? I guess it's good for people who don't know the class - idk?

stuck between wow popular 5/59/7 and EJ 0/53/18, which do you recommend for a 4k gs tank just starting out.

Ret is working sweet, topping most of the dps counts, getting 8.5-9.0 k in ICC.

 

To automate anything you need very deep knowledge of subject.

The main goal of this idea to let people have more fun and don't do things that can be automated.

 

You can take in the scenery, have a drink and a feed, personally don't have the time to learn the intricacies of each class, this is a good way to watch and learn a bit. I have always played my ret by hand, this just allows me to take in a little more of each fight and observe what others are doing instead of button mashing.

 

Really the most important thing as a Pally tank.

 

Out of curiosity, how would I run this without using Mr. Autofight?

Would I simply zone into instance, choose any profile on grind mode, then start HB?

Are there any pros or cons to using with or without Mr. Autofight?

 

Not sure what you mean, Mr AutoFight has now been removed so it just kills stuff without the need of the plugin. Yes just enter instance, load profile, pick something you wanna kill and away you go.

But yes, just enter instance - start HB - press start and pwn everything.
Pros is that it will buff you out of combat as well.
