decided to look for something like this today and saw this! hopefully it works out well!

 

Let me know how the profiles go. I've been slowly going through them all and getting rid of any stuck points. Let me know if you find any more so I can fix them.

 

Posting another update on how the profiles are going. Currently they are all being converted into Quest Profiles. No more Gatherbuddy2 profiles will be added, so please be patient as it will take a little while to convert them all over to the new format. This change is necessary and will allow for a much better profile in the future.

No promises, but I have begun research into making the profile detect needed achievements. If it requires a special plugin, I will figure out what needs to be done. If its reasonable then I will try to add this functionality into the profiles so you can just hit start once and let it AFK you the Achievement.

 

I wonder what the XP per hour is for this kind of thing. I know when im just flying places (cata places mostly) on my SoR accounts that are getting from 80 to 85, I constantly hit 5k, 7k or whatever exploration xp bonuses, which makes me wonder if this is a good alternative for some extra xp in place of archeologybot while grinding some bgs, or w/e. Anyone tried that or noticed?

 

That is a good question, if HB tracks XP gained from zone exploration I will definitely put out some numbers for this based on mount speed. Right now it wouldn't be super efficient and they all require flying mounts, but once I finish converting all the profiles to questing I will get them linked and optimized.

I didn't even think about that as I was doing this with a max level toon, but yeah I could see you getting a decent haul of XP if you ran this profile multibotting. Grab a level one and mount up on a double flying mount and get a few levels in a very short time. The total estimated time it takes to run all of the profiles right now is just over 2 hours with max flying. After optimizing the routes and adding automatic switching it could definitely get as low as an hour at max speed.

In the mean time, if you are running any of the current profiles let me know if there are any stuck points. The newly converted profiles will still use the same hotspots for now. Expect a huge overhaul to the SVN shortly.

 

Need to change Outland's profiles MaxLevel to 91

 

You can do that manually, as all the old profiles were written in Cata. Or you can wait until the conversion is complete as it redoes every profile to level 91. Its almost complete, just a handful of profiles left and then I have to update the SVN. Should be up either tonight or tomorrow.

 

All the profiles have been converted to questing profiles. They all support level 90 now and the rest of the profiles will be added shortly.

That's incredibly helpful. Care to provide details? IE which ones, and an explanation?

 

Bump, even though the servers are being iffy any detailed feedback on how these profiles are working would be appreciated.

 

Updated a few profiles to have better hotspots, some were really close to the ground so now the bot should fly higher avoiding objects and NPC's that could cause issues.

I added them to the first post for profiles to finish. Not sure how I skipped them but I will be getting all the missing profiles added soon.

 

A fully working and tested set of Pandaria profiles are expected to be released tonight.
