I've had a few people ask me for a Keepers of Time profile, but both instances for KoT rep would be difficult for me to code. I don't know how to do NPC escorts that are not quest-based (for Escape from Durnhold) and I don't know how to deal with the randomized portal spawns in Black Morass. :/ Outside of those issues, it would be possible.
Maybe just do Escape from durnhold first boss + trash (the burning of the houses) would take a bit longer but would be better then nothing, anyway just a suggestion love your work.
This kind of strategy is very good for human players, but getting a bot to reliably do that would be nigh impossible with everybody's different killing speed and classes. But clearing to the first boss and then clearing the static NPCs in Taran Mill might be feasible. It doesn't matter if you actually clear the instance if you're constantly getting rep and it's AFK.
I'm looking at this as a sort of 9-in-1 reputation profile. The gains are the highest out of any of your profiles, and you can pick up all the reputation items for the Aldors/Scryers to dual level them up, and on top of that lower city and your 6 tabards from the racial factions. We'll see how this goes.
To those who are following this thread's discussion on Keepers of Time rep, I have made such a profile and posted it here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...dless-farm-keepers-time-rep-3.html#post505991 It grinds trash on heroic mode in Escape from Durnholde, so you can use it to tabard-rep-grind as Mspropst mentioned above.
I noticed there is a vendor right outside the entrance of this one, any way to get the profile to just vendor all the loot picked up from inside the instance there? There is no mailbox/vendor of course, but it's always more money Thanks for the Durnholde profile, I'm just grinding one rep after another then going back to Insane in the Membrane. If you could figure out a profile for the Darkmoon Faire repeatable quests, I'd be your best friend. Haha. Making cards succccckkkksss.
If you can get me the vendor info on that vendor, I can add it to the profile (target vendor, in HB open Developer Tools, then "copy XML" in target section, and copy/paste what appears in the main HB window). Many people do not run with loot enabled, so I won't force the vendoring, but I can have it check to see if the bags have a certain number of empty slots to force it to vendor.
Awesome. Noblegarden took me away from there this morning, but when I get back I'll get it to you. I just figured when I'm farming rep for the 6 Racial factions and we're picking up all these blues, might as well be selling them and picking up money and spend an extra 10 seconds outside the instance for that. I run loot to pick up the Marks and the Fel armaments though. They can be traded between characters so I can even theoretically be used to rep up alts, or if you do this with your alts too, you can sell them to lazy people on the AH. Either way, they stack to 250 and are highly convenient in that sense, everything else could be vendored and these could be used for rep/AH.
Hey Zikke, first of all I would like to congratulate you for the great job you did with TBC rep farming profiles! Secondary as dudejde22 mentioned I tried running this profile with a prot pally and encountered the same issue, not killing the second bot and being stucked running in to the closed gate, which opens only after killing the boss. PS: +Rep
I have uploaded a new version with the following changes: 1) Added extra waypoints at 2nd boss to make sure he is pulled. 2) Added repair/vendor/mailbox support (it will check after each run. You can't use "normal" mailbox/vendors because it may try to leave to mail/repair while inside the instance) 3) Changed profile to now run indefinitely, instead of only until Exalted 4) Changed portal movement to use "MyCTM" instead of "GoThruPortal". If those coords need tweaking, let me know.
Download it again today (April 10). Apparently HB can not handle and If statement inside another If statement, so it was broken. I just uploaded a new copy that sends you to Shattrath to neutral vendors to avoid the double If statement.
<Vendor Name="Provisioner Tsaalt" Entry="19718" Type="Food" X="-3523.476" Y="4937.63" Z="-101.3953" /> <Vendor Name="Dealer Tariq" Entry="20986" Type="Food" X="-3521.878" Y="4952.891" Z="-101.3953" /> They're a little further out of the instance outside the gate though.
If you add vendors to the profile in the typical sense, then the bot will try to leave to go to them mid-run, which will break everything. I have to have it check after each run, but I don't think you can have it check for food manually like you can check for durability or bag space. Since different people use different types of food.
I'm doing the same thing. Any way you can make something that would farm Dampscale Basilisk Eyes so I can switch to Scryer's after and get Hero of Shattrath done?
Thanks, you updated it though. I just didn't know if you still needed those vendors. Thanks for commenting too. It's nice to know my food vendors aren't being ignored. Lol.
I know there are Dampscale Basilisk profiles on these forums somewhere. Kick might even have one (and if he does, it will work well).
