New Website - Sucks

Eh, I like it better than the one before, although as mentioned before, plenty of the community could do a better job, and for free.

 

1. Ive seen worse
2. Get some guys here with xp to do a leet one
3. I can help if needed (5 years Perl Web/App Dev)

 

Im working with website as well and I find it good, dont like the text down in the corner though. A website should not be TO much it should be easy to navigate and easy to find what your looking for, and I think the new one does.

 

Exactly what I think

 

While the wavy text is a bit annoying I see it as a step up from the last one.

The out place and unrelated icons surrounding the wasp on the last page felt more amateurish to me than this one.

 

i dont see what is wrong with it....

its a basic overview of the products, laid out nicely. i find it 100x better than the old thrown together html page (cant even consider it a site...). and i find it easier to navigate.

 

so make them a website then if yah think u can do better.

 

Flash based sites always suck

 

I agree with the OP. For me, it's harder to navigate through and a bit less user friendly than the previous. It sure as shit looks cooler though lol.

 

i still dont see how people sat the site is hard to navigate.... its so much easier. its less clustered and more organized...

 

The new site, in my opinion, is not very nice at all.

It is not very aesthetically pleasing, it is cramped and crushed, it has unnecessary flashy images and the navigational layout is not very user friendly.

I would like to stress that all of the above is my opinion, please do not flame or complain!

 

What is wrong with the site we have now?

 

I always found the original extremely hard to navigate, but it was at least asesthetically pleasing. The new one is neither easy to navigate or good looking, imo

 

Don't know what I dislike more, the whole flash deal or the spelling errors.

Yeah take away the wavy text and it's fine. Put more useful links on the front page, that's a great idea. How to make a profile, etc....

 

I don't mind it to to be honest.
But as a subsriber I wouldn't have notice how to get to the forum without having to click onto the "Products" tab frist

The new design isn't that ugly or bad, it just doesn't look professional enough in some kind of way hehe. Also I don't like websites based on flash. Loading time is pretty good, like ~1 sec.
