      The intial flash load took around 10 seconds, now it is instant as it appears to be cached - 50mbit internet.

      Just get rid of the waving text imo.
      Rest looks reasonable.
      I thought it looked fail at first.
      But i allowed the site in noscript after, then it loaded and looked better.
      With Noscript blocking it, looks hillarious.
      Gotta take that into consideration.
      Lots of users use noscript, and if they come to the site and view it like that, they may be put off.
