      My thinking as well.
I guess we'll see if Pushedx makes a statement or not

Drew is exhausted and has time off. Keeping Exilebuddy working is too much work for one person. It doesn't have any prospect of generating the revenue to support 2 full time developers and therefore we have ended it.

Drew will likely make a post here when he returns. I've told him to take as long as he wants.

      weird story.
yesterday he seemed to be full of energy and looking forward to the new release.
From the sudden he decides he cant handle it anymore alone?

Do you even believe this story yourself? xD

I'd wish to wake up tomorrow and see this problem somehow resolved.
I totally doesn't understand the timing of this decision. EB got updated after huge ass Expansion. China's PoE incoming within next months (alpha in 1 month). Income went down, I understand it, but you could remove the lifetime licenses, convert current ones to 3month licenses and raise the price of the bot to 9.99. EB can pay itself in 2-3 days, the bot is most profitable for the users in terms of the Buddy products. Users would understand increase in price. Not to mention other bots having lower user base than EB, why are we the ones to suffer. Path of Exile is one of the few games that is gaining players in time. This is situation perfect for bot company like you.

pushedx tried to make the bot perfect, was constantly rewriting the stuff to bring us better user experience, and we all paid the price. Downtimes were too long because of that, this could went another way.

@Buddy Staff, you should talk with the community. If not now, then at least within next closures of your products. People have put their hearts into ExileBuddy, for the last days, group of Community Developers grouped up to bring exciting tools to the public, but now, the project is abandoned before even started. Future was here, but it's gone. I'm sure we could make some sort of compromise, there's always a way.

Sorry - the user base of Exilebuddy is very small and two full time developers salaries alone would mean that the monthly fee would be at least €150. If I am to ask a developer to quit his job and join us to work on Exilebuddy, I would need at least to have a guarantee that we can pay his salary. I know you are disappointed but sadly there is no way to keep Exilebuddy alive.

That's really sad. PushedX put so much work into that project :(. Nah but it was an awesome bot and got minimum the 30x of the license price out of it.

Hawker has already offered a refund for people that bought the bot in the "near-past" and a free switch to a lifetime licence of any other buddy product for those that bought it before.

You don't understand? they will not say the real reason why more do not support bot. The proposal to increase the fees for the month will not help

So why don't we raise our current dev's salary, and sub for 100$ per month for the first 3 months and see how it goes.

Abruptly ending service is no way to make people happy. Heck, why was downtime month counted in the 6 months of depreciated sales? Anyhow, pitchforks are already up.

Best you could do is 3 months trial of a sub based model and see, clearly lifetime isn't so hot.
