[OFFICIAL][Patch 5.0.4] Honorbuddy will be offline for a week (or more)

Whats going to be really funny is me trying to raid without HB.

 

It will work when it gets updated. That is the only ETA you find on when it will work again.

 

ah this is neat ^.^ Will be interesting to see how the Forums are going to be changed. When the new bot comes out. I would like to be one of those people that makes the questing profiles, farming profiles. And things like that. Is there anybody here that could help me do that? Im pushing for server firsts on some of my toons. And on release day Im going 1-90 on Monk first. So I could post things for 1-10 for Monk and then after that 85-90 for Questing as well. Then level 90 farming for materials

 

Props to Honorbuddy for only taking a week. Take your time guys. I rather wait longer than use a program that is easily detectable and broken down to the point where it's worse than playing myself.

 

Well. the week hasn't passed yet.

At best we're looking at a weeks downtime.

They might stumble on obstacles unforseen........

 

^ This. There is a lot of work coding the changes especially with how many changes are happening with this patch.. I don't think a lot of people understand how much it really is, and yeah they had PTR but things change between then and live still.. So stop complaining, be thankfully that they're even updating the bot and doing it as quickly as possible, and learn to play your own classes(which almost all classes are changing anyways) it's not that hard.

 

take your time with the bot, I love the quality of such a program and i dont want it rushed. Thank you

I have gotten so used to LazyRaider I don't think I can play without it.

 

So...Alot has changed, bliz put in a new security system, who the hell knows..I may even wait a few months see if they do have something behind this major update and hoping no ban wave.

 

Take your time as long as it's stable .

Would like some love for BGBuddy eventually, Honorbuddy is awesome but I still miss Pirox for the PvP.

my DK is now lvl 70, and still, haven't touched a single hotkey on it. I wanna learn how to play a DK too !

I really hope this is just an "extra" week of preparation, because if the devs are going to *just now* for the very first time get started on dealing with the changes... then WTF, to say the least.

Because the PTR and Beta both have been out for a really long time, and they are exactly the same as this release... all the development work could have been done already

 

Sad week, that's for sure. At least I know the dev-team is working hard to delivery good code and good bot. Lets wait!

 

Exactly the same? You decompile everything, have a look at where things are, see all the differences between v5 and v4? Know how long it takes to build a bot, let alone keeping it stable and secure from detection?
Oh sorry, you've obviously been dealing with building bots for Blizzard products for years, unlike the Buddy Devs.

Granted some of the bigger stuff should have been done during Beta, but they never said it wasn't. Just because you know how the logic should flow, but doesn't mean it'll work on the final release.

Btw. wasnt the security update for UserData and stuff so they dont get hacked again? I don't think there are any Warden or Client Changes. Even if there are, Buddyteam will handle them.
