Our top paladin tester has some settings I'll attatch them when I get home tonight I'll also include them in the custom settings folder. There is an issue with EF at the moment where WoG needs to be set to false in dynamic spells category in settings in order for EF to blanket properly. We are looking into resolving this on the beta version at the moment so we should get it fixed soon.
Just wondering why when smite is disabled in the CC it still casts smite. Will only stop if I disable offensive spells but that gets rid of solace which is neccessary.
I will add some more settings so you can disable smite from offensive dps leaving solace to be cast freely, soon.
anyone gotten past wave 13-15 on endless using this routine as Discipline? With iLvl 558 prior to downscaling, I'm spending waves 7-10 pretty much OoM. In wave 12-13 it's like it stopped dispeling aqua bubbles out of nowhere.
Benneyquest may be able to help here, ill ask him if he can hook you up with some PG settings. He has his Title using Oracle.
Hi, just did 40+ waves in Proving Grounds in almost two days of tries (including stuffing, tweaking, etc) @Slator : Check here https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...cle-holy-disc-priest-beta-12.html#post1305054 @Wulf : Many thanks for this routine, I just couldn't has done this since I never healed since I'm playing this game (2005 lol) @Bennyquest : Many thanks aswell, without your settings & your experience I just couldn't have done this ! So, let me explain (sorry for poor english) : Honorbuddy Bot Base : Tyrael - Set to 35 TPS, I don't know if it's useful, I saw no difference between 25 (as per Bennyquest) & 35 Plugins : None Routine : Oracle of course (Rev. 1.0.0.348 from buddystore). I did try with Oracle 2 but it was not working as good as Oracle "1" (I explain end of the post) Settings of Oracle I used the files from Benny (the one in the post I linked to Slator) I added : General - HealthStone = 20 - Second Trinket (because I used the Timeless Isle trinket which has a use effect) set to Mana = 87 Class Specific : - Shadowfiend = 60 - Hymn of Hope = 1 About my character : Shadow Priest 580+ ilv Current gear I used for disc : 535 Talents/Glyph Same as Bennyquest Gearing First I removed all the parts I had with Hit and replaced them with older gear/timeless parts/LFR parts. It's important for you to throw the hit gear away as, even reforged, it's will handicap you for sure. Second, I searched for all the spirit gear I could get (Full Spirit (timeless) > Spirit/Crit > Spirit/Mastery > Spirit/Haste) and reforged/regemed/reenchant it with the same rule Spirit>Crit>Mastery>Haste>>Hit Do NOT HESITATE to do calculations, with gem slots etc, to check where you can get most spirit. Then I farmed healer trinkets (as I didn't have some). My recommandation for PG is Darkmoon trinket (I couldn't buy it, no one in AH) and Horridon trinket (couldn't loot it). I ended up with the Timeless Isle trinket (Intel passive / Use Spirit) and the one from Will of the Emperor (MSV). My stats : 11082 Intel 12249 Spirit with buffs, without flask & food 7.56 haste 16.8 crit 23.21 mastery To be honest, I don't know shit about Disc Priest, but I guess that, maybe I have a little bit too much of spirit vs other stats. Sometimes I may be lacking of heal ... but if I focus on other stats ... I may be lacking of spirit ... difficult choice ... Encounter First, it is really IMPORTANT TO NOTICE THAT IT'S ALL ABOUT ABOUT RNG and IT'S NOT FULLY AFK Sometimes you'll get hell because of stupid group members (standing in flames, not kicking/stuning, etc) or mobs (debuff on wrong char, etc) ... but sometimes it will just be sooo smooth & easy. Furthermore, sometimes Oracle will fucktard in priorities and won't heal properly ... but sometimes it will act perfect. Sometimes you'll arrive on wave x0 with 80%+ mana, sometimes with none ... No rules or tweaks available about this, it's just about luck. Just for you to understand, these are my stats (with the exact same gear) : Under wave 10 : ~10 times Over wave 10 : ~ 15 times Over wave 20 : ~ 10 times Over wave 30 : ~ 3 times Over wave 40 : 1 time So, this is how I do : I move the character : - A few yards far from hunter and/or mage ... but not close from melees (because of debuff that cannot be dispelled all time time) - In range from the entire group - Away from flames I assist the bot : - On healing "chomp" debuff, because sometimes it will just let it kill your group. [60% times] - On Hymn of Hope (this is why I set it to 1% mana), mainly during the last mob of a wave or end of a wave without mobs. If the bot autocasts Hymn, you'll get failure from letting group diying. [100%] - On using Pain Suppression, as sometimes it won't anticipate damages [25%] - On Void Shift, as sometimes it won't anticipate damages [20%] - On Leap of Faith : group member in flames or debuff that cannot be dispelled (CD) [10%] - On Spirit Shell : just to prevent from a bit of damage when group is full life -After last mob/Before wave, not during fights[15%] - On Healthstone : just to prevent from damage, usually "chomp" [20%] - On Dispell : Sometimes the bot has no "emergency situations" ... but won't dispell (even if dispell isn't on CD, of course) [10%] I stop the bot each times after wave 10, to let my char fully regen to 100% mana. If Oracle is enabled, as soon as the wave x1 starts, it will stop drinking & heal. You wan't to be 100% mana over wave x0. ... and that's it. You know everything ! Good luck, that's all you need now ! Thanks again Wulf & Bennyquest @Wulf : So about Oracle II ... I tried Trial Version ... With Proving Grounds enabled and settings almost the same as Bennyquest's profile in Oracle "1". I never could go further than wave 15 (and most of the tries, further than wave 8 or 9). Main issue are priorities, Oracle II will use Greater Heal a lot (over Flash/POM/Penance/Shield) ... even in hardcore situations. Furthermore it will even more ignore "chomp" debuff than Oracle "1" and burn down my mana. Dunno if it's about the Trial Version which is getting nerfed but it did not make the job for me (way worse than Oracle "1").
Thanks for the write-up! Oracle II is not set up for Proving grounds, but it can be! It has a lot more options and is a lot smarter than Oracle I. Ill PM you I would like to get you onto Oracle II beta, i'm confident we can push wave 40+ with a few tweaks. Cheers, Wulf
You're welcome. I got helped by you, I'm glad to help ! Oracle 2 is a lot smater & more powerful than 1, no doubts. I see it's way more efficient, it's just not set with correct values for PG
Ive been working on Oracle II flat out, at the moment Oracle I is so far behind its not funny. I do not think Oracle I will get resurrected. What I am hoping is to have a version of Oracle II that is free (limited functionality). This will probably not happen until after the release of WoD.
Tried your routine for my Holy Priest bot. First dungeon i've tested was Gate of the Setting Sun. At the end when they fall down to endboss the bot doesnt even think of healing himself or anyone else - just standing their plain stupid and wasting my time. I didnt change anything in the settings. Too bad.. well singular again.
This is honestly the WORST profile that I've used for Disc. Priests thus far. I just watched it run an entire dungeon -- with ALL of the damage options manually turned off, mind you -- and it shielded the tank maybe twice? Three times? Merrily standing around spamming smite, and holy fire, and penance, and 8239489283928 other damage abilities on any enemy within range, and not using ANY heals (including HOLY NOVA WHEN I'M LITERALLY CLOSE ENOUGH TO SMELL THE TANK'S AFTERSHAVE, FOR FUCK'S SAKE) on ANYONE.
