Using 220, noticed the following: - Healing Spheres are still way up in the priority list (healing spheres should be used to get people from 50 and below to a safe hp level, not to top ppl off) - Setting uplift to 90/2 leads to uplift rarely being used (i suppose it gets snapped by healing spheres) - Default setting is 96/3 on uplift which seems less than ideal for 10m and more suited for 25m LFR. Perhaps have 2 settings here similar to Revival?
For all those Monks out there that want to do proving grounds, i found a perfect video that highlights what you need to do in order to get into the higher waves. cdewx - Cdew ~ Seriously addicted to proving grounds - Twitch Of course he is pretty inhuman with his reflexes but his strategies are sound and his equip is quite bad (he only plays PvP usually).
Well, I do top the healing meters as Mistweaver with the new 5.4 patch and Oracle 225! Only problem is... I'm topping the OVERhealing charts With 5.3 and Oracle it was quite low, most of the time the lowest. Now I'm (one of the) the highest in every LFR. Same settings; namely "default". Probably more changes to Monks than I thought
Monks have the highest over healing due to renewing mists. Was like that in 5.3 nothing should have changed. Sent from my DROID RAZR using TheBuddyForum mobile app
Big over heals were always the case for Mistweaver because of RM, Uplift and Eminence, they also added targeted healing spheres to the routine, (i don't think that was the case before) there i can see a the big overheal factor outside of proving grounds but from what i understood is that proving ground has it's own routine/logic, you shouldn't care that much about over heal meter as a Mistweaver anyway, with mana tea being so strong i don't see our self going oom if you use it intelligently (do it manually) and that would be the only issue for over healing. Over heal means absolutely nothing to a mistweaver and nobody in a raid will say anything who at least understands some of the game mechanics. I will raid LFR for a test today and will post my experience, camping proving grounds is just to fun ^.^, so i wasn't in a raid since Friday after clearing SoO.
Update version 227 and 228 Addition of some better debug logging for Dynamic spell priority, you can turn it on in the settings and check why its choosing xxx spell. see this post here and scroll to "Dynamic Spell Priority Logging" for an explanation of the output and how to decipher it. Fix for Binding Heal it has a setting now. Addition of 3 settings for Holy Paladin - Holy Light, Divine Light, and Flash of Light will not be added to the Dynamic heal priority list when above the setting. this should stop some of the single target spells using all your mana. Fix/Improvement for Divine star: at the moment it will cast on the center of the cluster (15f) so position yourself so it passes through some targets on its way. Ive only tested it on 90/1 in proving grounds. Fix: Holy Radiance will now cast. Note: If you change any AoE settings restart HB, there is a bug that wont allow you to save the setting without a restart of HB. This affects all classes. WARNING Delete the Oracle Folder from your HonorBuddy\Routines Directory. Delete the Everything in your HonorBuddy\CompiledAssemblies Directory Delete the Oracle Folder from your HonorBuddy\Settings Directory. Im moving onto priest soon and there is some bugs in monk so stay with me while I try and get as much as I can done. There has been quite alot of framework improvements made which is slowing down my class testing/fixing/improving. Paladin has all the gizmo's except for sacred shield so you should be able to tune it really tight.
Update Version 229 Discipline: Divine Insight support Discipline: Fix for Penance - wasn't cast properly Discipline: Emergency tank heals tweaked. Discipline: Dispel Priority increased. Discipline: Spell calculations tweaked. Discipline: Power Word Shield given higher prio. Discipline: Dynamic Spell Priority settings for Heal and Flash Heal. this should stop some of the single target spells using all your mana.
Liking this update, it's much more mana efficient for me now. Finishing fights with around 20-30% mana left, Sitting a bit lower on the charts though, but i'm sure i just need to tweak default settings to fix that. Question: Will it only atonement heal with Offensive DPS set to true?, i swear before this update it was still using smite as a filler with that setting to false when all was safe. now it's not.
Turn off frame lock, that should fix the issue. Also, not going to lie, hands down the best CR there is. I have yet to see one that is more efficient in PvE content.
Agreed, its really good. Unfortunately since 5.4 monk performance has taken a noticeable hit so far. Perhaps not optimized yet.
We have not made it to monk yet. Paladin has gotten a lot of love priest is in the works. Druid a littler here and there shaman and monk are coming. Sent from my DROID RAZR using TheBuddyForum mobile app
