Ok, still having a little issue. I went through the steps. I enabled the proving grounds in the settings, then I talked to the guy to start it, but when I opened up the settings-tools-select players no npc's are listed. They are in my group, but they do not show up in the list even after multiple refreshes. Edit: Got it to work, bot has to be started for npcs to show up. Thank you guys
Don't see why it would need a log, but whatever. [22:04:37.965 N] ====== Oracle General Settings ====== [22:04:37.965 N] TankM - Pastebin.com You can see the encounter is set to true, and void shift + urgent health are both manually set to 0. Void shift is at the bottom of the log. It casts void shift regardless of me putting those 2 at 0^. Just to add to it, here are some more from more wipes: Obviously doesn't work if they're at 0% since they're dead, but it's still casting it when they aren't dead as seen from the quote above. (those last 3 void shifts are actually in the log I posted.)
So does this routine automatically switch between chakras for AOE rotation and single target? Or is that manually controlled? Cant seem to find anything regarding chakra usage in settings so I'm just asking
it is not a question of how u think u should post a log or not ... we are only looking at issues with a properly attached log. It is not a question ... no matter if it makes sense for you or not ... no log, no help! (one rule, since 3 or 4 years) the malkorok encounter is a bit tricky because of the shield ... someone with 0% is in this fight not necessarly dead! because of the fightmechanic. there is also a "new" bug with the settings, u have to shutdown (not start/stop) hb and start it again after changing the settings ... the bug was always there, but HB handled it somehow different. for the Malkorok mechanic ... set the values to an amount smaller than 0 (-1 or so), this should fix it for malkorok.
Thanks storm for the tip where i was looking for. Not hard to give a simple question a answer. No sarcasme. I had the same problem as this guy.
Fixed in Oracle II (Allot of the issues posted on the forums with V1 have been fixed in v2), which should be ready soon. Have Shaman and Monk PvP to go.
I was wondering if there was a way to toggle OFF Word of Glory, I see alot of the other spells where I can set limits/toggle off, started playing with SH for H Thokk, and it seems to cast WoG ALOT, wasting a ton of HP on it, and I would rather it didnt cast it at all, I tried setting all the EF settings to zero thinking maybe that was it, but as of now I cant seem to find any options related to it, am I missing something? thanks for the help.
u'r right, there are currently no settings for this, i'll look at it if i'm able to add it today right before starting raid ... any suggestions for thok hc?
That would be great! And heck they just bring me along for my devo's and bubbles For suggestions CR wise not much I assume you are doing the stop cast on screech and then skipping the stopcast if you have devo(id 31821) Divine Shield (id 642) or HoP (id 1022) up. Cant think of much else to automate on the fight, mostly about just doing things right... oh and laughing when someone doesn't move far enough and gets hit by the Yeti coming thru..... thats always a winner.... someone made a nice train noise on vent...and then a squish. Again thanks for the super fast reply.
HoP,DS,Devo skipping the Screech mechanic (stop casting) already figured it out some weeks back that there was a bug in the encounter module and pushed multiple fixes for that. The current implementation of the encounter mechanic should work (at least it did for me while testing it) But if u have any other suggestion for this encounter, let me know, i'm not that happy with the healing output in this fight atm ... Oracle I does everything fine (dispelling, keeping people alive) but the output isn't that great (i'm sure it could do more, but need a more focused paladin healer for that than me)
Wulf, I mean this with the greatest respect towards you, but... WHO CARES ABOUT PVP?! Just release it already for PvE!
Well I'll be happy to submit anything and look for stuff for ya, personally I come from having worked on my own PQR (before the "dark day") profile for holy paladin, kinda got addicting to see how much and how creative I could get with things, ended up having code for every H SOO boss for things that could be done, for Thokk I didn't have too much you don't already tho, one thing I did have, was a setting for SH talented pallys called Rotation Mode "Normal Mode" or "Strict Mode" basically Normal is the mode that the CR would follow normally using the percentages/etc as configured in PQI to determine what heals to use next etc... And then Strict where it ignored the settings and did the standard SH rotation of Judgment, Holy Radiance, Holy Shock, Light of Dawn, and just repeated that over and over using a Preset Hotkey configured to swap between Modes. I did like this "on the fly mode swap" as I could set it to focus on a pure AoE rotation or the like for extreme stack phases like Thokk. I had intended to go back and impliment the same function for EF as well, with the difference being "strict" would follow a Holy Radiance, Holy Radiance, Holy Shock, Eternal Flame hard set rotation, and then add a 3rd option only under the EF setting for AoE and it would just replace Eternal Flame with Light of Dawn and while talented in eternal flame, they user could tap the hotkey to swap between Normal Mode, Strict Rotation, and AoE Rotation. Lets see only thing I can think of was I during the Thokk encounter scanned the raid members for the Debuff Fixate (id-143445) and if someone had it, and I was in range it would 1st try to cast a Eternal Flame(is talented) on them, dispel posion from them, or toss a heal priortizing them since that debuff ment they were about to begin the run and will most likely run or gate out of range. Thats all I can remember from that encounter, can't wait to start doing some testing with the new Oracle 2, and see what all you have done with it. Have fun and have a great day.
thx for some suggestion but ... oracle v1 does this already but let me take a look today if i'm able to reflect this a lil bit more within the code without changing to much settings all the time ... but the current rotation and settings should be able to do exactly what u describe without recoding anything ..except the WoG setting to be able to disable WoG
Holy Paladins should now be able to deactivate the usage of WoG by setting the value to 0... Since the Spell is only used in the dynamic calculations, the hp value is atm useless (Oracle v2 handles this better, this is only a quickfix for now, i'll look at it later when having time for it) so long story short -> setting this to a value >0 will use the spell, <=0 spell not used
sounds great, one issue, looks like there might be a typo in it somewhere, i did the SVN update, and hb no longer shows it in the list to choose when i boot it up. And thanks for the quick fix.
